The building looks old..that attract the charm. inside is elegant look. the Food was delicious. Staffs are friendly and attentive, they refill every food counter that's almost empty, many choices of the desserts. I love the bday cake they serve . ❤️

It was a good experience for me and my hubby. It's a good thing we chose this place to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. Good food with the good crew (Filipino’s). Thank you! I am looking forward to Dine again with you to celebrate my coming Birthday this February.

The restaurant is on the 6th floor, accessible by elevator from the hotel lobby. The ambiance is excellent, and all staff (both Chinese and Filipino) are friendly and courteous. The buffet dinner offers a limited selection of food. I saw an advertisement mentioning half a lobster per person, but it turned out that was only available on Valentine's Day. On regular days, there are oysters, chilled shrimp, crab legs, scallops, mussels, and sushi. For hot dishes, there are a few options (the braised duck leg was delicious), as well as pan-fried pork jowl and thinly sliced lamb. There's also a station for blanched vegetables and noodles. Besides regular coffee and juice, the drinks selection notably includes red wine and Japanese sake. The dessert cakes are exquisite. Considering the affordable price for a buffet dinner (HK$550 for two people) and the quiet environment (only about a dozen tables, possibly because it was a Thursday), it offers excellent value for money.

Super sulit! Masarap ang pagkain at marami kang pagpipilian. Shout out din sa kanilang mga Filipino staff na nagpakita ng napakagandang pagiging mapagpatuloy. Tiyak na kakain ulit kami dito balang araw kapag nakabisita kami sa Macau :)

Durante nuestra visita, tuvimos el placer de cenar en este restaurante dos veces, donde la calidad de la comida nos pareció excelente considerando el precio. El salmón estaba particularmente fresco y la carne también fue una elección deliciosa. ¡Su selección de quesos y postres franceses era imperdible! Además, el vino de flujo libre, especialmente el rosado, contribuyó a nuestro disfrute general. Si volvemos a Macao, definitivamente consideraríamos regresar a este hotel. El personal, incluyendo a Dino, Jewel, Maggie y los demás miembros del personal filipino cuyos nombres lamentablemente olvidamos, brindó una hospitalidad excepcional. Nuestra experiencia general en el Sofitel Mistral fue verdaderamente notable.

SOFITEL HOTEL MISTRAL Restaurant Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 Mistral Buffet Restaurant Rua do Almirante Sérgio, Macau (commonly known as Ponte 16) 5th Floor, Sofitel Hotel June 21, 2023 This restaurant is my usual dining spot when I'm in Macau for business or leisure. The reason is that the restaurant is managed by the French Sofitel Hotel, and both hotel guests and senior hotel staff also dine here. The ambiance is pleasant; guests can dine indoors or choose the indoor garden corridor or by the pool, exuding the elegance of a high-end French restaurant. The service is excellent, and the food is a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisines, with guaranteed quality and a wide selection to choose from. The buffet restaurant is overseen by two head chefs: Western Chef Mr. Angelo and Chinese Chef Mr. Yuen. The pastry section is managed by Chinese Chef Mr. Owen. During dining hours, the chefs constantly巡視 the food to ensure it is tidy and clean. The salad section is impressive, featuring a variety of fresh greens such as Boston Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce, Red Cabbage, Frisee, and Lollo Rosso, and Butter Lettuce, all packaged in paper bags, ensuring they are dry and fresh. Additionally, there are cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, croutons, and dried bacon bits. Dressings include Caesar Dressing, French Dressing, Thai Dressing, Cranberry Dressing, Sesame Dressing, and Lemon Vinaigrette. (2) Pre-mixed cold salad dishes include Radish Salad with cheese, Long Onion Salad, Cucumber Salad, Mimosa Egg Salad, Pumpkin Salad, and Duck Breast Salad. There are also four types of cold cuts and hams. The cheese selection is quite diverse, including my favorite Blue Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Emmental Cheese, Brie Cheese, and Edam Cheese. Cheese lovers can easily get their money's worth by enjoying 100g of blue cheese with a baguette and crackers. The cold seafood selection is average, with cold shrimp, mussels, and clams, offering no particular surprises. The Western hot dishes are excellent, featuring French duck confit, Hungarian pork, roasted chicken, meatballs in tomato sauce, and stir-fried broccoli with meat. The Chinese hot dishes include stir-fried gai lan with ginger juice, grilled multi-roe fish, poached fish, braised pork belly, fried rice, and peanut and pork bone congee. Regarding service, it is highly commendable. The restaurant's service staff, led by Restaurant Manager Mr. Jack Huang, along with Miss Fatima and Miss Shirley, provide excellent and attentive service to customers. They are fluent in three languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, and English), always wear a smile, and politely answer guests' questions. The four frontline staff members are also equally polite and diligent. Dining here offers a triple delight: a tranquil and elegant environment, high-quality food, and excellent service. I highly recommend the Mistral Restaurant at Ponte 16.

The buffet offered a wide selection of food, from salads to noodles/pastas, main dishes, and desserts; they pretty much have everything you'd want to eat!

My family enjoyed having lunch here. The food was great with a wide variety. And most importantly, the price was very cheap for the quality of food. We will definitely go back when I go to Macau again.
