Our group, including the guide and driver, totaled nine people. This short one-day trip allowed us to visit the Orthodox Church in Ruse, the Rock-Hewn Churches of Basarbovo, and the castle in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, and enjoy a Bulgarian meal (at our own expense). It was a very fulfilling experience! The guide and driver were extremely dedicated and took great care of everyone. Highly recommended!
It was a very good tour. We were able to visit a different, nature-rich district of Bucharest, which was very refreshing. The guide was also very kind and knowledgeable, making it a great tour. Although we returned late, the hotel transfer was provided, so there were no issues.
You can take a direct day trip from Bucharest to Veliko Tarnovo, which solves the transportation problem and is very smooth and convenient.
The guide was very interactive and shared a lot of information about the places we visited. He even took us to a very nice place for lunch and gave us some recommendations. This is suitable for those who want to explore beyond Bucharest but have limited time.
