It is highly recommended to visit this site during the cherry blossom season in winter (February) to truly appreciate its beauty. Otherwise, it's just another ruin, although the wall-building techniques from five or six hundred years ago are still very impressive. However, with the pink cherry blossoms, it becomes much more visually appealing. Additionally, bamboo and wooden sticks are available at the entrance for elders to use as walking aids. Admission is free for elementary school children and younger. The Klook website states that 12-18 year olds are charged, which refers to middle school student tickets. I regret that I didn't notice this and bought a ticket for my 12-year-old son, who is still in sixth grade. I hope everyone pays attention to this detail.
Scenery that takes your breath away! The air was so fresh and the recovery works are still ongoing. I recommend coming to see the views with your own eyes.
The site isn't huge but it's a good size for some walking around and exploring. It's really cool to imagine the original grandeur and what took place there. Would recommend a short visit if you have time.
Buy now, use now, super convenient. On-site tickets are 1000 NTD, but Klook sells them for 800 NTD, which is a great price for a group ticket. However, I'm not sure why mine wasn't a QR code, so my family and the staff were a bit confused for a few minutes, but we still managed to sort it out.
The castle is bigger than I imagined, very much like a movie or game set. The stones paired with the lawn are beautiful. During cherry blossom season, there are some stalls, but unfortunately, only about 80% of the blossoms were out. Free parking and a shuttle bus are great! There are many shuttle bus services.
Following the Ryukyu regular sightseeing bus, we came here to admire Japan's first cherry blossoms of the year. Although they weren't in full bloom yet, they were still very beautiful. Being able to step into the ancient castle and learn about the history of Nakijin Castle (and get so close to the artifacts) made me feel that this trip was truly worthwhile!
Visited Nakijin Castle on February 14th. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, making for beautiful photos, and the sea view was also stunning. It's recommended to arrive early for even better photo opportunities!
I love this place, it's really peaceful and they have a monkey show. It was a very good deal from Klook.

Um local onde você pode apreciar a bela paisagem de um Patrimônio Mundial, como a bela parede curva chamada “Muralha do Castelo de Osumi”, o “Kaku” que forma o castelo e o portão principal “Heiromon”.
