Versailles Palace Half-day Audio Guided Trip from Paris

We took the bus to Versailles, and it was a half-day tour. It was enough time to see the entire palace and gardens. For the audio guide, you need to download it and use your own cellphone and earphones.

It was very simple and good. The round trip was short and efficient, and the bus was comfortable.

The tour bus was clean and provided punctual pick-up and drop-off.

This essentially provides a round-trip bus tour from the Pullman Hotel near the Eiffel Tower to the Palace of Versailles and back. You are then free to explore at your own pace, with a set time to meet back at the bus. It's not very difficult to take public transport from central Paris, but if you want comfort and convenience, then this is the way to go. The price includes the entrance ticket and access to the gardens as well.

Public transportation was more tiring than I expected, so I chose this product and am very satisfied. I entered immediately without waiting in line, the bus was great, and there were no issues with my afternoon schedule. I recommend the bus when the weather is hot.

I'm so disappointed. I bought a tour on the platform and requested a Chinese-speaking guide, but at the meeting point, they told me they couldn't arrange one. They asked if I wanted an English or French guide. I was so dizzy and upset, so I had to do a self-guided tour. I wonder if I should get a refund for the fee.

We waited at the hotel entrance for our scheduled pick-up for 15 minutes. It was almost the pick-up time, but no staff member was in sight. Another group of travelers was also waiting with us. We all asked other tourists, bus drivers, and other travel agency staff around, but still got no results. We immediately contacted Klook customer service, but the phone number they provided was unreachable. Then, customer service gave us a landmark, but it wasn't the hotel entrance; it was over 300 meters away. We ran there but still didn't see any staff or vehicle. We ran back to the hotel and saw a staff member in a red shirt, who then told us to run to a spot about 150 meters away to board the vehicle. Still no vehicle. We went back to the hotel, to the corner across the street, where another staff member in a red shirt finally told us the vehicle had already left. In the end, we ran around for over an hour, still missed the vehicle, and felt very upset and angry. The meeting point confirmed during booking was completely incorrect.

En route pour Versailles, le guide dans le car aurait pu présenter certains des lieux que nous avons traversés. Le départ de Versailles a été un peu chaotique, aucune indication sur le car à prendre, nous avons juste demandé à quelqu'un si nous pouvions monter dans le car qui ressemblait à celui que nous avions pris pour aller à Versailles. En gros, une expérience sans fioritures qui a coûté assez cher, assis dans un car sans climatisation sous une chaleur étouffante. Vous êtes emmené là-bas en car, déposé, laissé explorer seul. Trouvez votre propre chemin vers votre car pour le retour.
