This tour will show you how grandiose and opulent the lifestyle of the fallen French monarch was. Our guide, Ms. Flor, was experienced in giving this tour and knowledgeable about French history. After the chateau, you can visit the garden (ticket included) and you could ride the mini train (9 euros) to visit the highlights of the garden.

Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining, making this a great tour. Although the voucher stated that the 'gardens' were included in the price, this was not the case. We had to pay an extra 20€ to see the gardens. So, be aware.

Kristina is a really nice and knowledgeable tour guide! We love her! The tour itself only includes the skip-the-line ticket (which is awesome because we entered the place in just 5-10 minutes) and the guided tour of Versailles (around 1.5 hours max). Then you have to pay an extra 10 euros for the garden and spend a maximum of 2 hours there by yourself (it’s advisable to take the golf cart for an hour if you are in a rush – another 42 euros extra). We are a family of 6 and we enjoyed the half-day tour very much! We wish we could enter the King’s private apartment too (but it seems on the website it can only be entered by the guided tour at 10 am). I would recommend this trip if you are in a rush and only have half a day. Next time, I would prefer going there by train and spending one day slowly there (perhaps hiring a private tour guide too).

The guide who led us through the Palace was wonderful. He was detailed in his explanations and made sure we all understood what he said. He was also considerate, moving us to a corner before explaining to avoid us blocking other visitors. It was an enjoyable trip. However, we would recommend that Klook update the instructions on the meeting point. When we reached the Hyatt Regency, we could not locate our point of contact based on the instructions provided. It was only after calling the Helpdesk that we realized we needed to go to a nearby church to board the bus. The church location could have been stated in the instructions. Secondly, we were misled by the title of the tour. Based on what was described, we believed we had access to the Garden as well. When we reached the Palace, it turned out to be untrue and the guide on site explained to us that this is a common issue. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it was raining and access to the Garden would not have been as fun as it would be. Nevertheless, the tour was nicely organized. We would recommend it, but remember there may not be a Garden tour and you might have to purchase the ticket separately.

City Wonders tour were so patient, friendly and really nice. the bus was comfortable and even though it was jammed when we left Paris central, the driver navigated expertly. the local guide at the palace was really knowledgeable and especially patient with tourists yanking and pushing our group and him. overall the palace tour was really enjoyable. tip: gardens ground food were quite pricey if you compared it to Paris.

A garden that couldn't be any bigger, you must visit it to say you've truly been here. If you have time, you can spend two to three hours exploring this backyard garden; it's very relaxing.

We entered through gate B and queued for about 30 minutes. It was raining, so it was important to keep warm. Our guide, Frederick, was very knowledgeable and told us many stories. We rented a buggy separately at our own expense. It was a great experience.

Very close to central Paris, and the car pick-up and drop-off service was very convenient. Early in the morning, a tour guide took us into the Palace of Versailles to explore. Seeing these historical stories was truly awe-inspiring.
