It was a beautiful trip and definitely worth booking. It was an amazing experience and one we will remember for life. Our tour guide Jud was extremely helpful and everything you would ever want as a tour guide. He was kind, respectful, accommodating, and most of all organized. He was able to guide such a large group of people so well and still kept the experience personal. We will definitely be recommending this to all of our friends. Shout out to Jud!!

This 5-star rating is solely for our guide, Jude, and 0-star for the bus driver. Jude's service was excellent—patient, attentive, and very helpful throughout the trip. The itinerary was rushed, and we hardly had time to get food, yet he used his own money to buy us cake and juice. He also helped us take beautiful photos. The disappointing part was the bus driver. We were seated near the front and overheard him insisting on changing the itinerary to visit Zao Ropeway on the first day, even though we were already late. The guide told him that the waiting time was already two hours according to online information. We ended up queuing for a few hours to go up halfway with winds and snow, and were unable to see snow monsters at all. Then there was a long queue again to come down in the dark, winds, and snow! We reached the ground station after 8 PM—cold, exhausted, and hungry. It was a dangerous two-hour bus ride in heavy snow, and we arrived at the hotel after 10 PM to have our dinner. Throughout the journey, the driver repeatedly interrupted the guide’s arrangements, mentioning he needed to return to Tokyo on time.

Tour guide Tony (Xiao Zhao) is the best Chinese-speaking guide I've ever met. Knowing that travelers are tired, he gives them ample rest time as soon as they get on the bus, instead of constantly talking to himself. At the same time, he thoughtfully prepares snacks and shares his experiences in Japan as tips for tourists, treating them like his own family, which is very kind and friendly. Due to the late formation of the tour group, the tour company did not book the Zao Ropeway and Fox Village for the second day, instead arranging for us to take the Zao Chuo Ropeway (with a refund) and visit Shiroishi Castle, one of Japan's 100 famous castles, which was a bit of a pity. However, guide Tony explained the reasons very well, which was great. As for the first day's visit to Ginzan Onsen and stay at Kameyama Hotel, it was simply perfect. Seriously relaxing, enjoying the onsen meal with the hot spring was just too perfect. I really hope to have the opportunity to join Tony Xiao Zhao's tour again.

We joined the tour departing from Tokyo Station on Friday. The guide arranged for us to visit Zao to see the frost-covered trees first, avoiding the crowds on Saturday. Luckily, the weather wasn't too bad, with some sunshine, allowing us to photograph the frost-covered trees before they completely melted. On the second day, we went to Ginzan Onsen, but most of the snow had melted, so it wasn't as beautiful. Fortunately, the weather was great when we visited the Fox Village!

This trip was great because we had Tom as our tour leader. His slight adjustments to the itinerary made everything run smoothly, and we successfully rode the Zao Juhyo (Snow Monster) cable car, which was a highlight for us. He managed the schedule and interacted with the group exceptionally well. He also shared important tips that saved us a lot of time waiting in lines and figuring things out. I highly recommend this tour, and you'd be even luckier if you get Tom as your guide.

Our tour guide for this trip was Carter Sasaki. He provided detailed explanations of the attractions' stories throughout the itinerary, and the schedule was very smooth. Fortunately, all the tour members were punctual and boarded the bus at the time the guide arranged. Everyone was very cooperative, and the guide's arrangements were excellent 👍🏼. The guide even shared photography tips, showing me new ways to take pictures! This was a great help to me, as someone who loves to travel ✌🏻. The only downside this time was the bad weather and heavy snow when we went to see the Zao Snow Monsters. We queued for a long time to finally reach the summit, but the visibility was extremely low, so we basically saw nothing before heading back down. It was a great pity 😔. I'd like to arrange another trip to see the Zao Snow Monsters next time!

The fox village was not visited because tickets were unavailable. It's a bit of a shame. The tour guide changed our destination, saying we could go to the Gassho-zukuri village in Tohoku, but it was already dark when we arrived, and we couldn't see anything. The travel time was really too long; it took over six hours to reach Ginzan Onsen, and it was almost 3 PM. We had to rush to leave before 4:30 PM. Those who wanted to stay longer had to take a taxi back themselves. Each attraction required two hours of travel, making the time very tight and short. This time, there were very few tourists, so we didn't have to queue for long for anything, which was a bit rushed but still acceptable. We joined a bus tour departing from Tokyo Station. The tour guide arranged for us to visit Zao to see the 'snow monsters' (Juhyo) on the first day. Luckily, there weren't too many tourists, so we didn't have to wait half an hour to take the cable car up the mountain in sections. We were fortunate enough to still be able to photograph the snow monsters before they completely melted. On the second day, we went to Ginzan Onsen, but it wasn't as beautiful because most of the snow had already melted. Afterwards, we visited the Fox Village, where we could get up close and observe the foxes roaming freely in the park!

The tour guide Mr. Carter Sasaki is a very nice and responsible guy. He takes care of every customer with great care and tries to understand their needs. He was also very flexible in planning the activities schedule to meet everyone’s needs. He also taught us how to take good videos during snow. I enjoyed this trip so much and hope to join other activities under his guidance.
