This was our main goal for our trip to Korea, and it truly turned out to be the highlight. We faced a slight challenge because I didn't see any options when booking regarding when I wanted to have our ski class (the lift pass can also be used as a gondola sightseeing pass, but only on the same day) and our Snowy Land pass. By default, ski equipment is rented out before reaching the main resort. So, if clients are doing Snowy Land first on their arrival date and then skiing the next day, they will have to rent the ski equipment for two days. It also needs to be highlighted that even if the hotel checkout after two nights is at 11 AM, the bus will only leave the resort at 5:30 PM. So, it's better to reserve that afternoon for exploring the Vivaplex Mall (basement level). Luckily for us, it snowed at that time while waiting for the bus, so we also had a great time despite "just waiting" for our bus back to Seoul. In Snowy Land, day-trippers leave around 4 PM.

Overall a very good Vivaldi 3D2N package. The hotel stay was comfortable with spacious, clean, and warm rooms. Snowyland and ski activities were well arranged and free and easy. Local agents were very helpful and always ensured we caught all transfers on time.

This was our first time skiing, with two adults and two children in our family. I booked a three-day, two-night package on Klook, which included one day of lift passes and equipment, and one day's admission to Snowyland. I felt that Klook didn't provide a very complete itinerary, so initially, I wasn't sure what we were supposed to do next. For example, we departed from Seoul at 7 AM. The bus actually drove to a place to rent ski jackets and hats first, where we stayed for about 20 minutes. The ski jackets had to be returned to this rental shop on the last day when the bus drove back. The hats, however, needed to be returned to the 2nd floor of Building C before 6 PM on the second day. You see, none of this information was written on Klook. So, you wouldn't know how to plan your three-day itinerary at all. If you planned to ski on the third day, you'd be out of luck without a hat. I originally thought there would be someone like a tour guide on the bus to explain these things, but there wasn't. Only at the meeting point was there someone who would see you onto the bus, and that was it. They mainly contacted you via WhatsApp. The bus that departed for the ski resort at 7 AM was incredibly bumpy, and many children were complaining of feeling unwell. Upon arriving at Building B of the hotel, everyone gathered their luggage in a corner (as shown in the picture), so there was no need to worry about luggage storage issues. On the first and second days, I booked a total of three 1-on-2 coaches and one group lesson. Each coach had a slightly different teaching style, but one thing was certain: If parents are bringing young children, it's best for the children to be at least five years old. This is because children have a lot of equipment, and it takes at least an hour to put it on and then collect ski boots and boards. Children are also slow, and they don't understand English very well. Basically, if you choose 1-on-2 for two hours, the coach can only really look after the younger child. It's better to just choose 1-on-1, and you can practice by yourself nearby. A 1-on-2 lesson for two hours costs 6600 NTD. Some coaches here speak a little Chinese, but most speak English. Furthermore, if you want to learn to ski with twin-tip skis, carrying four ski boards and four poles, and taking children to the ski resort is hell. We initially took a group lesson, but I left after half an hour because our four-year-old brother couldn't keep up at all and was holding everyone back, which was very embarrassing. Our family bought our own ski jackets from Taobao, and on the first day, we rented lift passes and equipment separately. On the second day, we used the lift passes and equipment included in the three-day, two-night package. On the third day, we went to Snowyland to play.

JSKI Ski School is very professional, and the pick-up and accommodation are excellent. The facilities at the resort are rich and fun. I would like to come back to Vivaldi Resort next time.

A very convenient one-stop option. Kid-friendly venue and the price is reasonable. I would recommend it to families with kids.

The entire experience was good, with smooth transportation and a great tour guide. The price is reasonable for those who want to experience winter recreation for the first time, although the accommodation could be better. Our room was very dusty, and we found rubbish under the bed.

The accommodation was acceptable overall, but several aspects left me disappointed. I was assigned 2nd floor with a view of the car park, which felt uninspiring. The biggest concern was the heating system. There was no way to adjust the temperature, and the only option to cool the room was to unlock the balcony door. This raised serious safety worries, as it meant leaving the room accessible while we were asleep. Although the service desk reassured me that CCTV cameras were in place, it did not fully ease my concerns. Another issue was the transport schedule. The shuttle back to Seoul city only departed at 5:30 pm, while check-out was at 11 am. This left a long gap with no practical solution. On the positive side, the JSKI ski guide was outstanding. Patient, friendly, and genuinely supportive, they made the skiing experience enjoyable and were a highlight of the trip.

We had a great time, everything was perfect, great accommodation, great guide, we will definitely book again next time.
