Absolutely amazing. This is one of the most valuable experiences for me. I love the self-guided tour process. I stayed at the One Station Hotel Kumamoto, which made it easier as bus station no. 5 was right next to the hotel. Everything went smoothly, from the bus to Mio Camino. The fish burger was a bonus for me as I don't eat meat, so having the fish option was nice. The dolphin sighting was amazing; it was a 2-hour cruise. The staff made sure we saw so many dolphins. The kid in me was so happy. I took so many videos. The port was so modern, with lots of things to do and eat while waiting. I would definitely recommend it!

A very good experience, there were at least a hundred dolphins, a large group circling the boat non-stop. It's very convenient as the sightseeing area is right after getting off the Amakusa bus. When returning to the port, those going back to Kumamoto were already waiting at the station. The driver only stops for a maximum of 2 minutes, so you have to run a bit after getting off the boat, otherwise, waiting for an hour and a half would be a bit agonizing.

This product was carefully chosen for a family day trip. Seven adults in their 60s and 70s, looking forward to Amakusa dolphin watching, arrived at Mio Camino by the 9:25 AM bus. The weather was good, but a bit windy, which caused some concern. We were told to eat the hamburger set as per the schedule and come to the desk by 12 PM. When we arrived, we were informed that the tour was canceled because there were no dolphins. We contacted Klook and received a kind explanation that the cancellation refund would be processed as per procedure. As an alternative, they recommended a 'Four Bridges Cruise Tour' (2000 yen/person). Since we had already traveled by bus, we decided to take the tour. Although we enjoyed a cool and pleasant cruise, the disappointment was unavoidable. There was a small note stating that dolphins cannot be seen during the winter season, from November to March. If that's the case, I wonder if they shouldn't have gathered customers in late October. In the end, we received a refund of 4000 yen per person for a 100,000 won per person product, but after spending an additional 2000 yen on another impromptu tour, I felt a bit bitter. The souvenir shops, cafes, and sea views near Mio Camino were worth seeing. Aside from not being able to do the main activity of dolphin watching, it was good.

Be careful with this itinerary. There's no tour guide accompanying you. If there's a large group of elementary school students going on an outing before you for the 9:25 AM bus, you might not get a seat and miss it. Luckily, for the next bus, there was staff to guide the way, and we made it to the 1:00 PM boat.

It was a very relaxing trip. After only 40 minutes on the boat, we saw many dolphins swimming gracefully on both sides. The sea water was incredibly clear. The only downside was that the time spent watching the dolphins was a bit short. The dolphins were so lively, leaping out of the water, that I didn't have time to take pictures.

The first time, I got confused between the names of two stations and got off at the wrong stop too early. It cost me 3000 yen for a taxi to get to the boat departure point.

Director Sun introduced us to a lot of history about Kumamoto Castle and Kumamoto, demonstrating extensive knowledge, and also provided many important tips for our trip. At the end of the tour, he even recommended some unique restaurants. Thank you very much!
