Seoul Bukchon Hanok & Gwangjang Market Half-Day Guided Tour

There were only 3 of us in the tour so it felt really personalised. My guide Eva was fabulous - she enthralled us with anecdotes of the past and funny stories too when we were at Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon Hanok Village. I had so many questions as I like Korean history and she tirelessly answered all my questions. She also helped me take pictures at great spots. At Gwangjang Market, she introduced street foods at Gwangjang Market where we had our own free time to explore. The tteokbokki she recommended was spot on. The vehicle we took was spacious and comfortable and our driver navigated the road well. Overall, I enjoyed the trip including the stop at the Ginseng Museum.

This tour with Sunny was amazing. The amount of information and history that she shared with us through her stories really stuck with us. It’s not a super tiring tour and is at an easy pace. Sunny also shared a list of recommendations for us to check out during our stay in Seoul. She’s well-versed in English and extremely sweet. We got to cover all the places we wanted to during this tour.

Ivy was our guide and did a wonderful job! It was a good mix of classic and modern Korean history and culture. Ivy also went out of her way to communicate and give great suggestions for things to do even after the tour was over.

The tour was not too much or too little, just enough if you are staying for a short time in Seoul.

Max our tour guide was very knowledgeable & accommodating to everyone in the group. He even takes our pictures on the sites we have visited. it was very hot & have to take long walks but it’s all worth it since we learned so much & appreciated the beauty of Seoul.

This was a great way to start our first day in Seoul! We were able to see a lot in just a half day. We did luck out and only ended up with a group of 4 on this tour. Our tour guide, Kelsy, was amazing. She really explained everything she knew about Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwangjang Market. I love how much she enjoys her work and puts so much effort into it. I also love how she smiles and asks if we'd like her to take our photo 🥹
