Shabuzen, Sukiyaki e Shabu-shabu à Vontade de Wagyu Umeda, Osaka

I booked this for my husband’s birthday dinner and this shabu shabu exceeded my expectations. We had our own private table and the hostess/staff were so kind and helpful! The quality of the wagyu beef was very good and what’s even better is that it’s all you can eat!

Food Taste: The quality of the beef remained consistent from the first to the last plate, and the meat quality was good. Service: There are meat labels, which is convenient for those who don't speak Japanese. Price: The price is reasonable. If you don't drink alcohol, you can add drinks later instead of having to opt for all-you-can-drink from the start.

After watching a YouTuber's video, I really wanted to try this place, so I booked a table through Klook. The location was a bit hard to find; it's in the B1 dining area of a commercial building, and I had to walk around a bit before I found it. We chose the cheapest all-you-can-eat and drink option. Even though it was the cheapest, the quality was very high. All three types of beef were generously sliced, and I even felt that each subsequent plate was better than the last. However, the sukiyaki was a bit watery, so by the end, it tasted quite salty. Overall, it was still delicious!

The location is quite easy to find. Overall, it's pretty good value for money, and the meat looks quite premium. However, if you don't usually drink a lot, you can order drinks à la carte upon arrival.

Buying from Klook is more expensive than the original price. It's bundled with coffee and dessert. Looking at the menu, the Klook price is about $100 more expensive. Consider it a reservation fee.

Restaurant environment: There is privacy, but the private rooms are very close to each other, making it easy to hear conversations from the next table.

The staff were not very friendly. For the first pot, they helped with the grilling, but then left without saying anything once it was done. The quality of the beef was acceptable, but after one or two plates, it became very greasy. Besides that, there weren't many other options. I probably won't choose this place again next time.

Delicious! The sauce pairs perfectly with the meat, a truly wonderful experience.
