We visited Ki One Whisky Distillery on 13/6 & booked the 2:20 PM slot. Initially, we were worried as we hadn't received any confirmation text beforehand, but our driver and guide, David, WhatsApped us upon arrival. To our surprise, my husband and I were the only guests on the Eng tour that day, making it a very personalized experience. The drive took 40mins. David was knowledgeable & explained the history & whisky-making process clearly. A highlight of the tour was tasting whisky straight from the barrel, something we had never experienced despite visiting many distilleries before. He was also very generous with the tastings. The tour lasted about 1.5hrs & the entire exp took close to 3hrs including transport. David went above & beyond by dropping us off at Lotte World Mall afterwards due to protests near Olympic Park Station, which we greatly appreciated! The whiskies were smooth, delicious, & innovative. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, & we highly recommend this tour!

The Ki One Distillery tour was an unforgettable experience. Our driver was awesome! The team was incredibly welcoming, and learning about Korea’s emerging single malt whiskey scene was both fascinating and fun. Meeting the owner added a personal touch that made the visit even more special. The whiskeys themselves were impressive—beautifully crafted and truly award-worthy. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking something unique and authentic in Korea.

Experience: I participated in the English tour. While the Korean tour at the same time had quite a few people, there were only two of us on the English tour, so we had a very thorough and fulfilling experience. It was very interesting to learn about the founder's background, their commitment to the manufacturing process and location, and their willingness to take on challenges without being bound by precedents. In addition to tasting the finished product, we were able to sample malt from the manufacturing process and whiskey during maturation, which I found to be a more comprehensive experience compared to the Japanese distilleries I've visited (Yoichi and Sakurao). The unicorn whiskey I was looking for was temporarily sold out, but I was able to purchase a limited edition item. Although I'm not very proficient in English, as mentioned earlier, having visited Japanese distilleries and being familiar with manufacturing processes and whiskey-related proper nouns helped me understand the tour content to a certain extent. I believe this place will become more famous and popular in the future, so I recommend those considering a visit to go sooner rather than later. Location: Please note that Olympic Park Station, the meeting point, is far from central Seoul (if accessing via Line 6, the line splits midway, so only half the trains go there), and the location information for the meeting point points to Exit 1. The correct meeting point, as stated in the text, is the tennis court parking lot near Exit 3. (As of December 20, 2025)

The tour of Ki One distillery was the highlight of the day. our tour guide David went above and beyond to accommodate us and to give us a truly unique and in-depth look at the distillery operations and the brand. The whisky was very tasty and what we really loved was the experimental nature of the master distiller who absolutely loves trying out new things, using differen casks and coming up with new methods. I recommend this experience for anyone. Even if you’re just taking your first steps into the wide world of whisky,, this tour is for you. If you are a seasoned whisky connoisseur then the tour is also for you.

Loved the experience, got to see and taste the end to end process for making whiskey, Damon our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend anyone interested in trying out Korea’s whisky and gin offering.

David was an excellent guide. I learned so much about the whiskey making process and Ki One's unique approach to it. I also enjoyed tasting all Ki One's gins and whiskeys. I highly recommend this tour.

Guide, David, was excellent at explaining the workings of a distillery. Enjoyed it much more than the distillery tour I did in Ireland.

Very fun and informative. Learned a lot about the distillery, and got to drink quite a lot of fun whiskeys and gins. A nice escape from the city for a half-day.
