Avaliações
The river cruise was good as we learned a lot about Brisbane's history. Lone Pine is a small zoo, and we only spent 3 hours there. We paid AUD$35 per person for the koala encounter, but we only had a few minutes with a koala.
We had a wonderful experience on the Koala Cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. I’d like to commend Roby and the two crew members for their exceptional service throughout the trip. The commentaries were both informational and interesting, and aside from the trip itself, the views of Brisbane and its suburbs along the river were also exceptional. I also appreciated the lounge area, which was perfect for having snacks while traveling to and from the sanctuary. Highly recommended!
Brisbane River Cruise with Mirimar is highly recommended..the cruise itself is very informative - history, trivia and the likes. cool breeze but they are ready and packed with blankets. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a mini zoo...koala, kangaroo, sheep dog, dingoes, reptile and so much more. the walk and the adventure made us peckish but no fret as there is a cafe that not only provides coffee and drinks but also hot food to satiate us. all in all it was an excellent adventure/journey/trip.
One of the best activities we had in Brisbane! Definitely a must-book activity. It was winter when we did this last year, but the cold breeze along the river didn't bother us at all. Also, the koalas at the sanctuary were so cute, along with all the other animals!
The tour started at 9am with the morning river cruise departed at South Bank waterfront pontoon in front of the Brisbane Cultural Center. Our family enjoyed much the 90 minutes cruise ride on the Mirimar II catamaran along the Brisbane River. Beautiful scenery as well as the broadcasting about the history and interesting stories about the river and its shoreline. The tour included the admission ticket to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. We spent almost 3 hours there visiting the koalas, kangaroos and lots of other animals. We also watched the amazing shows of Birds of Prey, sheep dog and salt water crocodile. The sanctuary visit ended at 1pm and the ferry brought us back to the pontoon at 2:30pm. We highly recommended this Klook tour when visiting Brisbane.
When going to Lone Pine, you can arrive just in time for departure, but when returning, make sure to board 30 minutes early. The sun is incredibly strong ㅠㅜ The ferry takes 70 minutes one way, but it's very peaceful and an excellent opportunity to admire the city's outskirts. At Lone Pine, I highly recommend either touching or hugging a koala. Personally, I much prefer hugging. I did the touching experience, but when taking photos, if the koala is eating, it's wrapped in leaves, so it's hard to tell if you're photographing the koala or yourself... ㅠㅠ Still, it was a special experience. Before you go to see the kangaroos, absolutely buy kangaroo food from the shop next to the koala tour and then head up. Otherwise, you'll have to come back down to buy it, and you won't want to. All the kangaroos here are gentle, so go close, take photos, and try feeding them. Be brave! ^^ There are hourly events, and if you don't follow them, it might not be very fun. I couldn't participate in the hourly events, so I only saw koalas and kangaroos to my heart's content, but it was still a good experience ^^ Definitely bring sunglasses and a hat! It gets very hot after 11:30 AM ^^
There will be someone explaining the history/buildings in the boat. Great view along the river. The seats are first come first serve, so if you happened to have no choice but to sit outside like us, good luck as it can be really hot in the afternoon (we went during summer). You can expect to see a lot of geckos roaming around the sanctuary. We watched the Free Flight Raptor Show at 1pm, which is free and it was really intriguing to see a variety of birds.
Was a very smooth ride on the river and learned a lot from the recording about the history of the land. We saw so many koalas and other animals too! Would recommend :)
This time, I booked the Brisbane River Cruise and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary tour through Klook, and the overall experience was very satisfying. The river cruise along the Brisbane River offered leisurely and comfortable scenery, allowing me to appreciate the city and natural landscapes from different perspectives – a very relaxing start. Upon arriving at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the itinerary was smoothly arranged, providing ample time to see iconic Australian animals like koalas and kangaroos up close, and also allowing for free photography without rushing. The convenience of having transportation and tickets handled all at once was great. I highly recommend this tour to first-time visitors to Brisbane.
Cool and wonderful cruise ship with awesome, accommodating and helpful crew. Lone Pine Koala package with Brisbane Wheel and lunch adventure cruise was really worth taking and experiencing.
