Passeio pelas Ilhas de Moalboal Cebu, Corrida de Sardinhas e Canyoning

Our experience was fantastic! Truly one of a kind! Our tour was organized by Mcrich Travel and Tours, including the Canyoneering activity. Communication was smooth and timely—thank you for that. Our driver, Sir Glenn, was approachable and accompanied us throughout the entire trip. The island hopping in Moalboal was incredible; swimming with the sardines and turtles was an unforgettable experience. The guides were incredibly helpful, assisting us in taking great videos and photos while ensuring our safety during swimming. Lunch was complimentary, and I appreciated the accommodation for our companion who doesn't eat meat by providing different food. The highlight was definitely the canyoneering!!! Everything was just fantastic, from my co-joiners, to the tour guides, and, of course, the location itself. Kudos to all the tour guides who assisted us, even when we were unsure of what to do. A special appreciation to Sir Bryan, our canyoneering guide, who captured incredible photos and videos from the zipline experience until the end. He guided us well and prioritized our safety. He was kind, and we shared laughs throughout the entire experience. It was incredibly fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend the canyoneering experience! Thank you so much, Mcrich! Notes on canyoneering: * Zipline costs Php600. * We spent 4 hours on the activity (but this depends on your pacing, as some of our friends (co-joiners) spent 5-6 hours). * We were a group of 10, with 5 guides (the ratio is 2:1). * If you prefer, you can bring trekking shoes, but they also have rentals available. * If you want to bring some of your things, make sure to have a dry bag. SURREAL EXPERIENCE!! I rarely write reviews for Klook but I’ll make an exception for this activity. There are six of us in this tour and each one of us was assigned 1 tour guide each. They’ll take care of you and guide you along the way. Even the driver assigned to us was polite and even recommended restaurants for us to try here in Cebu. The Moalboal tour was good as well. For my non swimmer girlies, fear not because the tour guide is a professional diver and will help you capture your instagram moment with the pawikan. Overall good experience and highly recommended!

AMAZING TRIP! Exceeded all of our expectations!! Arnol and Tabu (might be wrong pronunciation but they were both with us that day) did the best job taking care of us, making sure we have everything we need. At the beginning we visited several islands to see corals, reefs - they also allow to rent a GoPro AND they take GREAT SHOTS throughout the whole day! We then went to see turtles (for 30 min each activity - enough time for everyone to enjoy) and we saw 3 turtles that day! What a luck! After that, we were taken to see sardines near the beach and then enjoyed our lunch. Second half of the day is spent at Badian Canyons - thrilling adventures with lots of fun and breathtaking views!! It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life and would 1000% recommend it to anyone!!

¡Fue increíble! La carrera de sardinas de Moalboal fue genial y las tortugas estaban tan cerca de la orilla que pudimos verlas de cerca. Los guías fueron excelentes asegurándose de que obtuvieras buenas fotos, ¡así que asegúrate de alquilar la GoPro! Pero lo más destacado del día fue el barranquismo, la adrenalina de todos los saltos fue simplemente emocionante y los columpios fueron muy divertidos. Los guías fueron geniales animándome a hacer los saltos y, de nuevo, muy buenos tomando fotos y videos. ¡Lo haría de nuevo!

I think my photos speak for themselves. The best tour I have ever joined, the things I saw and experienced. Seeing the sardine runs and sea turtles up close. Getting to ride a motorbike and zipline before canyoneering (PHP 600). And having the best guides we ever met! Jumping off cliffs and waterfalls, sliding down rock slides, swinging off cliffs, it was so much fun. Not as physically demanding as it seems but we sure were tired at the end of the day.

We were picked up by Elizer who was an absolutely lovely guy! He had great conversation, lots of knowledge of the history of Cebu, awesome tips regarding other tours we could do (Oslob whale sharks) and was super funny, Elizer really made a great start and finish to this tour and I would recommend requesting him to be your driver. We headed to Badian where we were met by Brian and Elnard who were lovely and helpful; they were the ones who took us on the canyoneering tour. I felt so well taken care of on this tour. Brian made sure we had the most amazing photos and Elnard made sure that we had the most fun experience. I would highly recommend these two. We also did the Moalboal island hopping tour. Unfortunately, I did not receive the names of our two snorkeling guides, but they were absolutely amazing! I am not a very strong swimmer, and they went out of their way to make me feel safe. One even came in and practically dragged me along while he swam so I could see all the wildlife, lol! They ensured we had great photos, and you could tell they knew the ocean very well! Their boat driving was impeccable. Overall, an amazing day spent doing awesome activities with lovely, helpful people. Thank you, team!!

We are a family of 5 people and we had the best time during the entire time. We were pick up at the hotel by 5am and reached the first destination which is the Badian Canyoneering. We opt for Zip Line to save our time and energy which is a great extra. We were guided by McRich headed by Marissa, each one of us has a guide of it's own which is a must to make sure your safety during the expedition. The entire Canyoneering staffs are very enthusiastic and they took care of us the entire time and took great photos too. Kudos to the team. After the lunch, we headed next to Moalboal for sardine run which is outstanding and the underwater scenery was beautiful enough to leave you speechless.

The itinerary was rich and varied. Although no one contacted us or informed us about the meeting time and place until the morning before departure, we received a reply after proactively asking. The driver also arrived on time. Remember to bring your own water, as no water is provided for the morning snorkeling trip. You need to rent flippers yourself, which cost 150 pesos per use. Try to wear long sleeves, as there were many jellyfish at the first snorkeling spot in the morning, and we were stung all over. Water is provided during lunch, and bottled water will also be provided for the afternoon canyoning. For canyoning, you can spend 600 pesos to play the zipline, which saves you a 40-minute walk. After reaching the other side by zipline, we still walked for over three hours. For those with less physical stamina, it is recommended to use the zipline. Overall, the scenery is beautiful and great value. You can see sardines and sea turtles while snorkeling, and there are various ways to enjoy canyoning, including different jumps. Each person is accompanied by a guide who assists you throughout and also acts as a photographer to help record everything.

This experience was amazing. We got a driver from Cebu to Moalboal who waited for us the entire time. The tour includes island hopping, snorkeling, and a sardine run. We saw some turtles. The guides were nice. Next was Canyoneering with McRich Tours. Our guide Jason was beyond amazing. He was extremely helpful and gentle. This was so much fun jumping off cliffs/rocks. Highly recommend this tour. 100% worth it. The drive from Cebu City will be looooonnng so mentally prepare and bring snacks.

The full-day tour includes a round trip from Cebu City to Moalboal and Badian. The Moalboal island tour was quite interesting; we managed to experience a school of sardines! The Badian canyoneering tour was highly recommended! Get to experience the emerald blue paradise! Special thanks to canyoneering guides Nicks and Jason!
