Cruzeiro Sawasdee Chaophraya em Bangkok

Our Sawasdee Dinner Cruise was amazing. Great food choices, although did not see the beef steak available (advertised). nevertheless, total experience was really good.

The service on board was excellent. It happened to be my birthday month, and I only booked through Klook the night before. I filled out the form when booking, and they provided a small birthday cake, which was delicious. During the river cruise, the host sang and danced, creating a lively atmosphere. The most surprising arrangement was the fireworks show, which lasted at least 30 seconds. On the return trip to the pier, we also caught the ICONSIAM water show, and the view from the boat was exciting and delightful. I personally found this experience to be very worthwhile.

The meeting point at Pier 4 of ICONSIAM was easy to find. Although it was crowded, I felt at ease knowing that even if I asked a different reception staff member, they would still guide me. There's no need to arrive early as seats are assigned from the beginning. The food selection is abundant, but it would be helpful if they could include spice level indicators. I had a great time watching the traditional dances and Muay Thai. The people in traditional costumes and the Muay Thai performers were happy to take photos, so it's a good idea to bring money for tips. And of course, the amazing night view! It's breathtaking! Highly recommended!!

I have tried this and the cheaper yet more popular dinner cruise options. I can confidently say this is more worth it for the additional cost. It is more organized and the staff are ready to assist you for additional orders such as beverages. I recommend asking for the rooftop seats as they give the best view. Try going early too (around 5pm) to get your table assignment then come back at the designated time (6:30pm) for the boarding. I think they still need more improvement in organizing the queues in and out of the boats. It becomes very messy and some guests might push as there are no proper lines.

This was a last minute purchase. The process was easy on Klook. I proceeded to the pier, but it was unclear where to wait until I asked one of the other tables. All of the cruises had tables set up for check-in in the same area, but our cruise hadn’t put their sign up yet. Once they did, we all got in line to get our table/seat. It’s controlled chaos, but it works somehow. Other than that, going on board and the trip itself was pretty smooth sailing.

The Sawasdee Chaophraya Cruise was a relaxing and enjoyable way to see Bangkok at night. The river views were beautiful, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the experience felt well organized. A great option for a calm evening on the water.

There's very little information online about the VIP private rooms, but my first experience was truly excellent value for money, filled with a sense of luxury. We had two service staff attending to us throughout. You need to exchange tickets for the boat. One private room can accommodate ten people, and you can also bring outside food; the waitstaff will bring it to you. The latest boarding time is 6:30 PM, so you just need to exchange your tickets before then. There's also a shopping center nearby, which houses the world's largest Pop Mart.

Two years ago, I dined on the open-air deck of the Chao Phraya Princess. While cruising on the river in the open air was nice, the strong wind made it a bit too cool, and the food felt too dried out, not as good as the indoor dining on the 2nd floor of the Princess Cruise. Of course, you can still enjoy the view on the top open-air deck after your meal. Both options offer a great experience. Plus, the live singing, hot dances, and Muay Thai performances during dinner were truly spectacular and excellent value for money. Everyone should come and experience it when you have the chance!

The timing was perfect before heading to the airport with my family, and we chose this as our final activity! It was even more wonderful than expected, and my family was so happy! Seeing Bangkok from a cruise offered a different charm, even more so than a rooftop view! I highly recommend it!!
