What an interesting experience! About 20 years ago, a friend took me sea fishing for hairtail (it might not have been this company, I've forgotten), and I always thought sea fishing was great fun. So this time, I booked this trip and invited my family to go with me. Even though a typhoon had passed two days prior, the waves still felt quite big once we were out at sea. I've never gotten seasick before, so I was the only one in our group who didn't take motion sickness medication. However, I kept having stomach contractions (dry heaving, I thought it was low blood sugar) on the boat, and everyone else thought I was seasick. So, in the future, when going sea fishing, it's better not to be too stubborn and take motion sickness medication beforehand. The captain and crew were very detailed in their explanations from the moment we gathered on shore: how to put on life jackets, how to bait the hook, what to do when you feel a fish bite, etc. After heading out to sea, they also patrolled back and forth on the boat, observing everyone's fishing situation and providing help when needed. They seemed very professional. Our group of 12 caught nearly 30 hairtail and one other fish of unknown species. Finally, they even cooked seafood noodles on board for everyone to eat. It's just that my stomach wasn't feeling well, so I didn't dare to eat. The crew said that if you're not afraid of bigger waves, they still offer sea trips in November and December. The tides are different then, and the hairtail will be fatter and more delicious. My only question is that I remember the 5:30 PM itinerary originally mentioned circling around Elephant Trunk Rock or nearby islands. Perhaps because it gets dark earlier in winter, we didn't go around and went straight to the fishing grounds instead.

The crew's pre-trip briefing was interesting and detailed. No smoking on the first floor; the smoking area is on the second floor. They first took us to see Elephant Trunk Rock and Chief Rock. When fishing, the crew was always there to help with any issues, whether it was taking photos or untangling hooks – their service was perfect. There were also seafood noodles and clams to eat! It was pretty good, and the explanation was very detailed. However, I was a bit disappointed that the boat trip I wanted to book (evening to early morning) didn't form a group. We didn't catch any hairtail on July 21st, but the captain's guidance via radar was excellent. I hope to go again in September and catch some hairtail.

This is my second time participating. I came to fish during the hairtail season. I was worried I wouldn't catch any fish during the full moon, but luckily I caught 8 hairtail. The sea conditions were also good; the waves weren't too big, and I didn't get seasick. It was a lot of fun. After bringing them home, I immediately cooked and ate them; they were fresh and delicious. If I have the chance, I'd like to come fishing again next year.

A bountiful harvest! 👍👍👍 I can't believe how lucky we were 🥳 We kept reeling them in 🎣 and caught a whole bucket 🪣🐟 full of hairtail fish. Everyone was super happy 🥳 and it was very cool, because we were night fishing 🎣. Just remember, if you get seasick, be sure to take motion sickness medicine 💊 half an hour before boarding the boat 🛥️🛥️🛥️. Otherwise, you'll really throw up 🤮.

Before departure, the crew provided detailed instructions on fishing techniques. Even if I wasn't very good at fishing at first, the crew was very enthusiastic in helping. Although I got seasick and threw up a lot, I was very happy to have caught six hairtail fish!

First time sea fishing, the explanation was detailed, the meal was delicious, and we could even eat the freshly caught fish. It was a great experience, a life achievement unlocked!

We were very lucky that day, with a full catch of 80 fish between the two of us! 👍 We even caught five fish on a single cast three times! 😄😁

It was my first time experiencing sea fishing, but due to bad weather and bad luck, we changed fishing spots three times (they won't let you wait endlessly in one spot if there are no fish, which I think is great). Later, it even rained, so none of the dozen or so people caught anything :( The boat crew explained everything in detail, they had plenty of staff and provided quick assistance, helping with any issues, so even beginners don't need to worry. Along the way, they also took us to see Elephant Trunk Rock and Chief Rock, offered freshly cooked squid noodles on board, and thoughtfully prepared mineral water, raincoats, and vomit bags for emergencies – excellent! It was a wonderful experience, and we should support such activities more so that there's a chance to develop other even better service experiences. Aside from the weather and luck, I give it full marks 👍

We joined the sunrise tour. I never imagined that catching hairtail would be so much fun; they bit the bait as soon as the hook was in the water. One person could catch over ten fish, which was incredibly satisfying. The crew on board were professional and friendly, and their instructions were detailed and easy to understand. If there were any issues with hooks or fishing rods, they would immediately come over to assist. The seafood noodles at the end were also delicious. I highly recommend coming here to experience hairtail fishing. After eating our fill, the captain even took us on a tour around Keelung Islet, accompanied by a beautiful sunrise and a rainbow we were lucky enough to see. There's no more worthwhile trip than this. Many thanks to the crew and captains. A minor drawback is that the staff take photos of the activity with their phones; it would be a bit better if they asked participants for their consent first.
