Excursão pelo Torneio de Sumô de Tóquio

Michiko was INCREDIBLE. If you're lucky enough to have her as your tour guide, she explained the history of Sumo, how it works, traditions, fun facts, and even provided great visuals to understand what we were watching. She elevated the experience to where we enjoyed the show to the fullest extent, the location itself, and were guided to the best souvenir shops. We were lucky to be part of a small group. S class seats are the way to go! Best view of the house with some amazing takeaway treats!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, I believe her name is Mrs. Yuki. She was truly passionate about Sumo, and all the information and knowledge we gained from her, along with her energy, made it a great experience. I highly recommend this because it's very traditional, people in Japan truly love it, and it's something really cool. I've seen Muay Thai and boxing matches, and Sumo is definitely not far behind; it's really awesome!

Incredible experience! I had tried to buy tickets directly on the official website but without success. I immediately bought through Klook and thankfully so! The organization is perfect, our guide was great, very kind and informative, speaking very understandable English. We were on the second floor (2F) and could see very, very well! Don't hesitate for a second, if you see seats on the second floor, row S or A, buy them, you won't regret it!!!

Overall, having had the opportunity to watch the sumo championship was amazing! Our guide was not that fluent in English, so I felt like sometimes he was avoiding my questions. I was also expecting more explanation from the guide, such as how much they weigh, the requirements for them to get into training, if they marry, etc. We ended up Googling all those facts and got our answers. Our seat was on the second floor, but still had 100% visibility of the match. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was fantastic. Ms. Yoko (the guide) gave an amazingly detailed explanation of the history of sumo, what the sport is about, and taught us how to watch the sport. She was very engaging the entire time and answered questions when people had any. Also, the seats, although on the second floor, gave us a great view to watch sumo. Highly recommend it.

Es gibt keine Worte, um auszudrücken, wie dankbar ich für die Rücksichtnahme und Höflichkeit bin, die Sunrise Tours gezeigt hat, um mich und meinen Mann unterzubringen. Als ich die Buchung vornahm, konnte ich nur Einzeltickets buchen. Ich habe nicht bedacht, dass uns dies in getrennte Gruppen und auf getrennte Bereiche der Arena setzen würde. Das Tourpersonal begann sofort fieberhaft daran zu arbeiten, meinen Fehler zu korrigieren. Sie entschuldigten sich wiederholt dafür, dass sie uns warten ließen, während sie meinen Fehler behoben. Nachdem sie uns in eine Gruppe mit einer Stornierung umplatziert hatten, unternahmen sie sogar zusätzliche Anstrengungen, um sicherzustellen, dass wir nebeneinander saßen. Der Treffpunkt ist vom Bahnhof aus sehr leicht zu finden. Die Broschüren und das kleine Handtuch, die als Souvenirs ausgegeben werden, sind tolle Andenken. Die Reiseleiterin, Miko, war so leidenschaftlich, was Sumo angeht, zu sagen, sie sei sachkundig, ist unzureichend, sie war leidenschaftlich. Zusätzlich zu dem Vortrag vor und während wir uns der großen Arena näherten, verbrachte sie persönliche Zeit mit jedem Gast, erklärte Nuancen des Sports und beantwortete Fragen mühelos mit einem gleichermaßen fortgeschrittenen Englisch. Wir haben diese Veranstaltung auf Anregung eines Freundes gebucht, der ein großer Sumo-Fan ist. Ich bin so froh, dass wir das gemacht haben! Sumo ist ein so großer Teil der japanischen Kultur und es war eine Ehre, diese Erfahrung zu teilen! 10 von 10 Punkten! Miko war großartig und das ganze Team ist erstklassig! Yuki Kubo, our guide from Sunrise Tours, was excellent at explaining what we would see and the history of the sport. We received an English match list and an official Banzuke list. The view from our seats was great, as it's a small stadium that only holds 10,000 people. As my first live Sumo Tournament experience, I had a blast with Yuki and would definitely recommend it to anyone new to Sumo to experience at least once in their lives.

これは、大相撲の期間中に日本に来るなら、絶対に見逃してはならない素晴らしい体験です。ガイドのトシさんがとても分かりやすく説明してくれたので、相撲についてより深く理解し、さらに楽しむことができました。

¡Excelente tarde! Yuki nos dio una lección rápida sobre la historia y las reglas del Sumo antes de ir a la arena. Fue muy divertida y respondió a todas las preguntas durante el día. Incluso nos preparó nuestro propio emparejamiento en inglés, lo que facilitó seguir los combates. Disfruté cada segundo. CONSEJO: Si planeas comprar comida/bebidas, hazlo temprano, los puestos se agotaron rápidamente, especialmente el sushi y los bentos.

Tickets were sold out within an hour of release so we had no choice but to purchase tickets from a third party. The overall experience is great, our guide Kumi was the best and we like the freebies but the price is 2x the regular one. :/
