Excursão Privada de Meio Dia a Éfeso e Casa da Virgem Maria em Kuşadası

Fantastisk, omfattende privat tur med lunsj som varte i omtrent 6 timer. Enkel kommunikasjon for henting. Det var veldig travelt den dagen med 3 cruiseskip i byen, inkludert vårt, men tempoet var lagt opp slik at det ikke føltes så travelt. Antikke Efesos var fantastisk – spesielt biblioteket. Det oppslukende museet var fint. Guiden vår, Nazmican, var svært kunnskapsrik. Vi kunne ikke ha bedt om en bedre turguide. Vi tok hyppige stopp i skyggen. Lunsj var inkludert, deilig sammen med en interessant demonstrasjon av teppeproduksjon (med salgselement). Den kom med tyrkisk kaffe; barna likte eplete. Døtrene mine ble lært å veve og øvde på dobbeltknute. Tenk på et tyrkisk teppe! Jomfru Marias hus var fredelig og åndelig; husk å være stille/respektfull/kle deg sømmelig/respektere fotobegrensninger (ingen bilder inne i huset). Sist var en kort fotomulighet ved Artemis-tempelet, før vi dro tilbake til havnen. I thought it included the admission tickets already but apparently not (nothing indicated about it when I rechecked). But it included lunch and private van was premium and very comfortable. The guide Umut was also great in explaining and sharing so many historical things. Lunch was good, had it in the garden area of the restaurant under a mullberry tree and it was lovely. Umut ate with us and he showed how locals eat (mixing the dips and oils, etc). We passed by a Leather store (along the road) and carpet store (same loc as the restaurant) they had demo and tried to sell, but ok we don’t. This was a more expensive tour in Klook than another one that also do hotel pick up (not port) because of the lunch and private transfer. I would say it’s ok, our guide was excellent in explaining the history anyway.

The tour was great; I highly recommend it. I would do it again. It was a great tour. I had fun. I would do it again and recommend others to do it. It was a great tour, fantastic and fun.

I originally thought it was a group tour, but it turned out to be a private car and guide for four people. We could also freely add or remove items from the itinerary, which was quite good. Although the guide was friendly, he walked a bit fast in the ancient city, and some places were rushed through. We often had to ask him to stop so we could take photos. His English accent was also a bit strong. Later, there were shopping stops at a leather shop and a carpet factory, but there was no forced consumption. Overall, the experience was good.
