Delicious! Highly recommended 👍👍!! The red soup is fragrant, spicy, and not too salty. The ingredients are fresh, and there are many choices. The black tofu, crispy pork, and ice jelly are especially delicious and a must-order! The portions are quite large; it's calculated per person, so it's best to order half portions first to avoid waste. The venue decoration is very unique, with many photo spots and performances. Unfortunately, the website and booking didn't mention the performance times, so we missed them! The showtimes are 2 PM, 3:30 PM, 5 PM, and 7 PM. Luckily, we had an extra 2 vouchers from a previous special offer. Next week, we plan to watch the 3:30 PM show and start eating at 5 PM 🤤. We heard there's a 2-hour dining limit, but we ate slowly after ordering and weren't rushed even after two hours. The staff were all very nice. It was a wonderful Chongqing experience!

It's delicious and not too spicy (for us). The portions are big, they give the size we order per person. Worth buying the voucher from Klook.

This is our second visit to Chongqing within a week, and the food and service standards remain excellent! This time, we ordered in batches, starting with half portions each time based on our preferences. This allowed us to try different ingredients without any waste. We still haven't seen the "irregular Qipao performance." The intangible cultural heritage Sichuan performance next door requires a separate ticket. Since we had just seen a similar show at Yuchao Fang in Shibati that afternoon, we didn't watch it again. From the description, the content of both seems similar, but the venue at Chongqing 1941 appears to have better seating and a more refined performance, with a relatively higher ticket price. However, if you can enjoy hotpot and a show on the same day, it saves travel time and effort. This time, we also encountered a small tour group dining there. If your trip is rushed, it's still highly recommended.

Great buffet, great soup, good taste... and very friendly staff... we'll book it again...

A very beautiful, authentic restaurant, almost a museum. The food is delicious, but you have to cook it yourself over a fire. I wasn't quite prepared for that, plus the staff doesn't speak English at all, so you have to communicate with a translator. Otherwise, everything is wonderful.

The dishes are varied, the service is excellent, and the restaurant's decor is unique. Highly recommended.

Das Essen ist gut und schmeckt besser als die anderen Mala-Hotpots in der Gegend. Aber niemand spricht Englisch, überlegen Sie es sich zweimal, wenn Sie kein Chinesisch sprechen. Ich sprach sowohl Englisch als auch Chinesisch und traf ein Paar aus Deutschland, das nur Englisch sprach. Das Personal war sehr wenig hilfsbereit und zeigte keine Reue. Niemand kam, um zu helfen, bis ich aufstand, um zu assistieren, und keiner der Mitarbeiter wollte die Situation übernehmen. Es gibt einige Essensnamen, die zu schwierig zu übersetzen sind, und ich hätte sie gerne mit dem Personal geklärt, bevor ich sie ins Deutsche übersetze, aber ich konnte niemanden fragen. Keiner der Mitarbeiter sagte etwas oder ein einfaches Dankeschön, nachdem ich die Situation für sie gelöst hatte. Die Einstellung des Personals ist wirklich inakzeptabel, selbst für Chinesischsprachige, außer einer älteren Mitarbeiterin, die die einzige zu sein scheint, die hier wirklich „arbeitet“.

The all-you-can-eat option is a great value, highly recommended! The spicy hot pot is delicious :))))))
