the easiest way to have a quick explore to the nea kameni and hot spring. however the change of port was not communicated earlier. the final departure port has changed to Athinios new port instead of Ormos old port. I found that out after I contacted the organiser otherwise I would have gone to the wrong port. I would appreciate the latest information is shared in advance.
The tour is great for viewing the crater and hot springs. however, please note that if your departure time is 10.30am the port is Athinios Port. The email sent has conflicting information, but the title of the email should state Athinios Port. If you’re taking public bus to Athinios Port please note that the timings change everyday and you’ll have to check out the physical schedule at Fira bus stop (probably a day before). Either that or I recommend that you rent a car or book a taxi.
I was looking forward to visiting the remote island, but it was just a cruise to the destination. You can see volcanic points like lava and geothermal activity, but there's nothing new or exciting. The hot springs are just steam coming out of the ground that you can touch. It was a disappointment, so I'm giving it 4 stars. The reservation was changed without my consent, so -1 star. Due to the change, the disbandment location became further away, and the tour ran longer than the stated end time, ruining my next plans, so another -1 star.
The volcanic mountain was stunning. Amazing views, fun hike, and an unforgettable adventure!
Rien. Après la réservation, ils envoient un code QR ainsi que le point de prise en charge. La veille et le jour de l'excursion, nous n'avons reçu aucune communication ni instruction. Nous nous sommes donc rendus au point de prise en charge plusieurs minutes plus tôt et nous n'avons toujours pas pu les trouver. C'est la première fois que cela m'arrive sur Klook et j'ai réservé plusieurs excursions ici. C'est décevant. Nous avons dépensé 40 euros pour le transport et n'avons rien obtenu. Nous avons fini par nous promener simplement à Fira.
We cancelled the booking because the meeting point was not at Fira Old Port as described. Instead, it was at Santorini Port, and we only learned this after we had paid. Luckily, Klook Customer Service was very helpful and refunded the trip to us.
