The tour was well-managed, and there was sufficient time to explore each destination. The driver also had to act as the tour guide. He was very helpful and approachable. Overall, it was a value-for-money trip, as the destinations were too far to reach by public transport. Highly recommended!
This time, in early March, I visited Nagoya attractions that are not easily accessible. I was initially worried if it would be enjoyable. Both the tour guide and driver were from mainland China, but they were all very friendly! Tour guide Tao Jing explained everything in detail, and the itinerary was well-timed. Everyone in the group also gathered on time at each attraction, making the entire trip very smooth. We even returned to the city earlier than expected. Magome-juku was truly beautiful and ancient, a place everyone must visit at least once in their lifetime! However, Ena Gorge felt like an expendable part of the itinerary, as there wasn't much scenery and it was quite ordinary. I hope the travel agency can seriously consider this suggestion so that more time can be spent at Inuyama Castle. Otherwise, after entering Inuyama Castle, there wasn't much time left, which was a pity as I couldn't properly browse the shopping street. I feel very regretful about this!!
This time, I saw the "Inuyama Castle & Ena Gorge & Magome-juku & Tsumago-juku" package on Klook. Thanks to fate, we met tour guide Xu Xijun. We hit it off immediately, as if we were long-lost friends. Her professional explanations during the trip made us feel like we were truly there, instantly immersing me in the local Japanese culture. I'm so glad I bought this tour package, and I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Nagoya!
It was worth every penny. On the day we went, we were the only family of four in the entire mountain town, which meant we had a private car. Our driver, Xiao Wu, was very flexible and adjusted the itinerary and timing to suit our family. The lunch restaurant he recommended was delicious 😋. Both the adults and children had a great time 🥳. On the way back to Nagoya, he even dropped us off right at the entrance of the Pokémon Center at "Yabacho Station," helping us complete an itinerary we might have otherwise missed. We are truly grateful for his thoughtfulness. KLOOK has never disappointed me!
I am very satisfied with the entire trip. 😎😎😎 We were able to visit several different attractions at once. I am incredibly, overwhelmingly satisfied with the transportation. 😍😍😍 The tour guide was also excellent, providing detailed introductions to each attraction. 🫶🫶🫶 Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku were very quaint and historic. The weather in Nagoya these past few days hasn't been great, but fortunately, the weather on the day of the tour was good, with no heavy rain. This made the entire trip very smooth. 👍👍👍 I highly recommend this tour to everyone! 😜😜😜
The Inuyama Castle ticket package was excellent. We could only see the entire castle's scenery from the top floor of the main keep. Ena Gorge had many cherry blossoms in full bloom, and walking through the old streets of Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku had a very nostalgic feel. This time, it was a small group of 12 people, and Mr. Yan was both the driver and the tour guide, giving us clear instructions. Because the tour bus was very comfortable, even though the journey was a bit long, we didn't feel tired at all.
The travel distance was a bit far, but it allowed us to admire scenery outside the city center. Inuyama Castle, both inside and out, offered great photo opportunities, and the view of the Kiso River from the castle top was magnificent. Ena Gorge was a bit disappointing; it didn't look as beautiful in person as in the online photos. We spent a longer time at Magome-juku and had a meal there. It's a place well worth visiting to understand its culture and history. The scenery after a snowfall is unique, and from the highest point, you can even see Mount Ena. Finally, Tsumago-juku, although also a post town, had a different kind of scenery compared to Magome-juku. Overall, the itinerary was well-paced, not too rushed. Although the group was quite large, almost filling the bus, the group members were excellent, always on time for boarding and alighting, and we returned to Nagoya as scheduled.
We arrived at the meeting point in the morning and waited until the designated time, but the tour guide did not show up. Eventually, under the direction of another guide, our group of about 10 people boarded the bus ourselves. The guide finally arrived late, just as we were about to depart. He did not apologize for being late, nor did he introduce himself. It seemed as though he had drunk a lot the night before and was late because he overslept. Suddenly, another woman appeared next to the guide, claiming to be a guide as well. We never learned their names throughout the entire trip. They did not provide much commentary during the tour and did not communicate with other group members. I have participated in similar day tours before, but I have never encountered such unprofessional guides. The tour leader/guide for this activity was Gao Jiale. I hope your company can follow up and investigate his service quality. Additionally, the vehicle was very cramped, and the interior was not very clean. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
Que bom saber
