Purchase your Nikko Edomura tickets in advance on Klook. Upon arrival, simply present your Klook ticket QR code to the staff for scanning, and you can easily enter, saving time on ticket purchases. At Nikko Edomura, we experienced the charm of the Edo period; the streets, Ninja Village, and buildings within the theme park all exuded an ancient Edo-era atmosphere. Additionally, for an extra 250 yen, we could experience grilling senbei (rice crackers) within the theme park, personally immersing ourselves in Edo culture. Furthermore, Nikko Edomura features several theaters where we watched ninja action shows, comedic plays, and the Oiran procession – it's definitely worth a visit!

This was a must-see on my daughter's list. She dressed as an Edo princess, and the staff bowed and treated her as such. We went on a Monday, and it was a lovely, quiet change from Tokyo. We went for the day from Tokyo. It was nice to walk around, with plenty of photo spots, feeding some koi, and challenging ourselves in the maze and the samurai training house. The samurai show was done really well. We understood what was happening even though it was in Japanese. A fun family day.

Edo Wonderland is an absolute must-visit! It’s an incredibly immersive experience that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the Edo period. The attention to detail in the architecture, the authentic costumes, and the high-quality ninja and theater performances are truly impressive. The staff are exceptionally dedicated, staying in character throughout the park, which makes the whole day feel like stepping back in time. Forget about being a tourist. Don a kimono and blend in. It’s a fantastic, fun-filled destination for families and history buffs alike. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful experience! We dressed up and wandered the location. Had some Japanese comedy theater and even a (I think) a random action play in one of the street of Edo. Very entertaining! Unfortunately, pictures taken cannot justify the actual beauty of the place. Redemption of ticket is very seamless as well

I regret not having rented a costume because it's THE ideal place to take magnificent photos, as the decor immerses us in the Edo of yesteryear. The park staff are adorable. Don't miss the different shows, especially the Oiran procession (daily schedule available on the park's website). We spent the morning at Toshogu Temple, then from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the park, and that was more than enough. A MUST-DO!! NB: Free shuttle from Nikko JR station. For the return, ask the park office to call a taxi to Kosagoe station (1,500¥) and use the pass to return to Shimo Imaichi station (you can take the Spacia X by reserving a Limited Express ticket via the TOBU line website - the standard ticket is included with the pass). This is the only place where you will find customizable Daruma.

Show: Amazing! There are so many shows to enjoy in Edo. All the shows are excellent, but they cannot be recorded with a camera or phone, so you will truly enjoy the atmosphere of the performance. Highly Recommended place that you must visit in Japan. But my advice is, to get to the location, you should pay attention to the free bus schedule so you don't miss the bus.

Edo Wonderland is een themapark dat het leven en de cultuur van de Edo-periode in Japan nabootst. Ik bezocht dit park met mijn vrienden en we hebben ons geweldig vermaakt. Het park heeft verschillende attracties, zoals ninjashows, samoerai-zwaardgevechten, geisha-optredens en historische musea. We vonden het ook leuk om ons te verkleden in traditionele kostuums en foto's te maken met de acteurs. Het park is zeer authentiek en meeslepend, en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is heerlijk en redelijk geprijsd, en de souvenirwinkels hebben veel unieke items. Ik raad dit park ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die de geschiedenis en cultuur van Japan op een leuke en interactieve manier wil ervaren. Het was een van de beste ervaringen die ik in Japan heb gehad.

Ahhh, nuestro punto culminante de Nikko. Puedes pasar fácilmente un día entero allí. Muchas actividades, espectáculos, y todo el lugar está auténticamente diseñado para el período Edo. Nos vestimos como princesa y samurái por un día. Aquellos que dicen que solo es bueno para niños no saben de lo que hablan. Hay cosas tanto para adultos como para niños. El autobús de enlace gratuito frente a la estación JR Nikko llegó según los horarios. Me encantaría hacerlo todo de nuevo.

It was a great experience! It felt like you traveled back in time to the Edo period. The place and architecture really resembles back in those days and the staff dressed up as such as well. You can even rent clothes back in that era to blend in with the place.
