⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Experiencia maravillosa en el pueblo flotante Reservar a través de Klook hizo que todo fuera fácil. El operador turístico local se puso en contacto conmigo con antelación para confirmar la recogida en el hotel y envió la hora de recogida temprano. El tour incluyó una visita a Kampong Phluk en el lago Tonlé Sap. Nuestro guía compartió historias interesantes sobre el pueblo, su historia y la vida diaria de la gente local. Fue una experiencia inolvidable, ya que tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a los aldeanos, interactuar con ellos y visitar una escuela local. My tour guide was excellent. This time, I traveled alone, and surprisingly, there were only 4 people in the group, haha. I want to say that Cambodians are all very kind. I will come to Siem Reap again next time. This is a country I really like; the people are kind, have their own beliefs, and are always friendly. There is a shocking history here, and the people on Tonlé Sap Lake also work hard to live. There is no forced consumption. First, they will take you to the ticket office, where you can look around; there are shops there. Later, they took us to a riverside restaurant to watch the sunset. The bus arrived at the hotel to pick me up at around two o'clock. After reaching the destination, I boarded a double-decker boat. I was the only Asian in the tour group of over twenty people. The tour guide was a local who spoke English—a very kind person who shared a lot of information and even helped take photos for me, for which I am truly grateful. The itinerary was incredibly interesting, and watching the sunset at the center of the lake became one of the most unforgettable memories of my life.

We had a good time visiting the floating village with our tour guide, Nan. He was kind, passionate and knowledgeable. He also answered all our questions with patience. We also learned that he grew up in Kampong Phluk. Thank you Nan for taking care of us. Highly recommended if you are visiting Siem Reap.

This tour was both simple and enlightening. Our guide Mr Nan was very prompt and maintained communication via WhatsApp shortly after we secured our reservation. The pickup was right on time, and the ride was relatively smooth, although we did encounter some bumpy stretches along the way. The transition from the minibus to the boat went off without a hitch. Compared to my last visit twelve years ago, the infrastructure improvements were remarkable. As we strolled through the village, it became clear that the locals are enjoying a better quality of life, though there’s still room for growth in terms of their income opportunities. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to catch the sunset due to heavy clouds, but that's just one of those things beyond our control. The tour exclude the small boat ride, it cost USD5.50 per person. it is an optional. Not compulsory. You can just enjoy the foods and drink at the floating restaurant.

I was told that I would receive details about the hotel pick-up time the day before, but I didn't. On the morning of the tour, it seems the message was on WhatsApp, but I hadn't seen it as I arrived in Cambodia that day. I waited 75 minutes in the lobby without air conditioning. The hotel staff were concerned and called the tour operator for me. The meeting time was 13:30-14:30, but the pick-up arrived at 14:45. I was happy to be able to see the floating village and the sunset, which I had wanted to visit. However, I had to kill time at a restaurant until sunset, and that time felt very long. The guide explained things at the floating village, but the music and voices from the temple were so loud that even standing right next to the guide, I couldn't hear anything they were saying. I returned to the hotel after 19:00. It was a long and tiring day, but being able to see scenery I don't usually get to see made it a good memory.

It was a nice experience even though we couldn’t take the boat at first because the water level was low. But we still got to see the houses built on tall stilts and observe their way of life along the way. Later, we took a boat to the mangroves on Tonle Sap Lake and watched the sunset.
