Avaliações
Highly recommended. Well packed itinerary taking you to the outskirts of Dublin and you can get to see a lot of beautiful and wonderful places. Only negative aspect is the lunch place you were taken to, food rather simple and not delicious and a bit pricey.
Our tour guide was Elena (a cool girl with short hair and glasses). She explained Ireland's history, architecture, and relevant travel information in English throughout the journey. The morning's two-hour horseback riding session involved at least an hour and a half on horseback, traversing through forests and enjoying the mountain scenery. Afterwards, we went to a local village for lunch. The shepherd's pie was very authentic, and the coffee was rich. After lunch, our guide drove us to the Wicklow Mountains, where lakes are nestled among the peaks, like the famous Guinness Lake here. Later, we stopped in the mountains, allowing us to walk to two lakes. The lake surfaces were wide and calm, surrounded by many flat stones, perfect for skipping stones and taking photos. The guide's driving skills were excellent, and the pacing was just right.
Wicklow is absolutely worth visiting, even in the cold winter months. The bare mountains, still lakes, and quieter surroundings give the area a calm, reflective beauty, with far fewer crowds. Despite the cold, the horse-riding experience was enjoyable and well managed, making it a great activity even for beginners and a lovely way to take in the scenery. The experience was made even better by Derrick, our tour guide, who was both friendly and hilarious, adding warmth and humour to the journey. This trip felt more like an introduction to Wicklow than a one-time visit, and it left me keen to return in another season to experience the landscape in a different light.
Our tour guide, Derek, is a very gentlemanly and cultured man. He gave us just the right amount of space to explore. Originally, due to the weather, our planned trip to Wicklow and the sheepdog demonstration was cancelled, so I rebooked this tour. This trip was perfectly worth every penny. Wicklow is so beautiful it made me a little emotional. Being in the mountains truly moves you and helps you forget many unpleasant things. If you have the stamina, the guide highly recommends the 25-minute walk to see Upper Lake. Glendalough Monastery is a place with a great sense of history. The entire trip, from nine in the morning until returning to the city around five, felt just right to me. It was a very worthwhile journey. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves scenic views.
Tour guide Ken was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, as well as being very kind and attentive. He introduced us to many attractions and their stories. Highly recommended and worthwhile.
I would definitely do this again! The tour was great and the horse riding was super fun, even for someone with no prior experience.
It went well! Our tour guide Richard was very friendly. Things were well organized. The horse riding was a unique experience.
It was a nice van that comfortably accommodated 16 passengers. The itinerary was relaxing. The driver and guide were knowledgeable.
