Excursão para Kilkenny, Wicklow e Glendalough saindo de Dublin

It was great. The tour guide Carol was lovely. I was just a bit dismayed during the sheepdog demonstration part of the tour because we didn't get to hold a baby lamb. The working dog didn't follow its master's orders, and the sheep ran off in separate directions. Too bad, it's the only reason I booked this trip. But overall, it was a nice experience.

Kilkenny, Wicklow, and Glendalough all in one day, and every stop delivered. Ireland’s countryside is stunning, and this tour does a great job of showing you the best of it. Big shoutout to Carol our guide and Ana our driver, both were fantastic and really made the day. Carol brought so much life to each destination, and Ana kept everything smooth from start to finish. The sheepdog demonstration was honestly a highlight 🥹 watching the Border Collie herd the flock with the Glendalough valley as the backdrop was something I won’t forget. Such a uniquely Irish experience. Highly recommend. Don’t think twice about booking this one.

Departing from Dublin at 8 AM, arriving in Kilkenny at 10 AM (1 hour 20 minutes stay), then through the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough, finally returning to Dublin. The medieval city of Kilkenny was so beautiful that I regretted only staying for a short time. The Wicklow Mountains were also great, and the hiking in Glendalough was enjoyable. We traveled comfortably on a very clean and pleasant large bus. Our guide (I'm sorry, I forgot their name) was also very professional. It was great to see Ireland's beautiful nature at a good tour price.

The tour guide was very professional and provided detailed and informative explanations throughout the journey. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful, and every spot was picture-perfect! As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe throughout the trip, and I never had to worry about getting lost. The guide also recommended great local restaurants, which was very helpful. Even without doing much research beforehand, I could simply relax and enjoy the trip with complete peace of mind. Highly recommended!

A perfect score for tour guide Oli and driver Brian! Oli is a young man, but his knowledge of Irish history is incredibly deep. He introduced us to the background and history of each attraction in a vivid and easy-to-understand manner, even explaining the common Irish surname 'O'' and how it originated. Moreover, his accent was not heavy at all; as a Hongkonger, I could understand over 80% of what he said. Being able to clearly understand the historical background and jokes truly enhanced the trip! The scenery was beautiful, and the towns were quaint. Although Kilkenny is primarily known for its castle, I highly recommend everyone also take the time to visit St. Mary's Cathedral. Admission is free, and there are not many tourists because most visitors go to the castle. The cathedral is spacious, sacred, and solemn, yet it still feels like a living place of worship where you can sit anywhere. There were indeed people praying and lighting candles inside. The statues and frescoes inside are exquisite and worth spending time to admire. I also strongly recommend wandering through the streets and alleys; it offers a strong contrast to Dublin, being less busy and with residents appearing more relaxed. The entire tour truly allowed us to slow down, with ample time to visit and explore each attraction, definitely not the kind where you just get off the bus for a minute to take photos. The driver also shared jokes with us on the way back, creating a lively atmosphere. This price is truly excellent value, with a dedicated guide throughout, a spacious bus, and convenient pick-up/drop-off in the city center. I will definitely recommend it to friends!

Aoife fue cálida, divertida y llena de historias fascinantes que dieron vida a cada parada, desde la Kilkenny medieval hasta las leyendas de Glendalough y los impresionantes miradores de las montañas de Wicklow.
