Itinerary was not rushed. There will be a guide bringing you up Huangshan. Our guide was fantastic in engaging us and telling us the many stories about the spots we visited. Note that there will be additional 570RMB that have to be paid for meals + cable car rides. Highly recommend

The actual tour differs from the itinerary. Two local tour guides took us up Huangshan mountain. It is fully guided instead of free and easy. We had to pay an extra RMB580 per person to cover all our expenses including 2 lunches, 1 dinner, 2 cable car rides and 2 train rides. It is well worth the extra money. Rooms in Xihai hotel on Huangshan mountain come with a window and Anchi hotel in Huangshan city overlooks the river. On our own, the tour package price can only pay for the 3 nights accommodation. A word of warning, if you are not physically fit or have a slight mobility issue, avoid Huangshan mountain. One member had a knee problem and the guide helped to carry his backpack up the mountain. Overall, a value for money tour package.

The oddly-shaped pines here come in various forms, such as the Greeting-Guest Pine; the grotesque rocks are remarkably lifelike, like the "Monkey Gazing at the Sea"; the surging sea of clouds is magnificent, and when viewed in the early morning or evening, it's like a fairyland; the abundant hot spring resources make it an excellent place for recuperation and summer retreats. • Cultural Heritage: Huangshan is a treasure trove of traditional Chinese culture, boasting a profound cultural heritage. From Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty to modern literary figures like Xu Zhimo, many literati have left behind immortal works here. At the same time, the Taoist culture here has a long history, and Buddhism also spread and developed, forming a unique religious and cultural atmosphere. • Tourist Facilities: Huangshan's tourist facilities are well-developed, with cable cars, hotels, dining, and other amenities readily available to meet the needs of different visitors and provide convenience. • Visitor Reviews: Most visitors highly praise Huangshan, considering its scenery magnificent and breathtaking, a must-visit attraction in one's lifetime. However, some visitors have noted that during peak season, the scenic area can be crowded, and cable car prices are relatively high. Hongcun Village • Architectural Landscape: Hongcun is an ancient village meticulously planned, with its architectural style being typical Huizhou architecture, featuring white walls and black tiles, simple yet elegant. The village is shielded by green mountains, with high and dry terrain. Its artificial water system adopts a biomimetic "ox" shape layout, exquisitely and ingeniously designed. Water features like Moon Pond and South Lake complement the ancient buildings, forming a beautiful Jiangnan ink painting. • Cultural Value: Hongcun was founded during the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, boasting a long history and rich cultural connotations. It is a living textbook for studying ancient Chinese hydraulic history and also a Chinese

Hiking Process: Although hiking is arduous, along the way you can admire various beautiful sceneries up close and experience the marvels of nature. From the foot of the mountain to the summit, as the altitude increases, the scenery continuously changes, with every step filled with anticipation and surprise. However, the paths on Huangshan are quite steep, posing a significant challenge to physical strength and endurance, especially sections like the Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder and One-Line Sky, which require using both hands and feet to climb. But when you overcome these difficulties and reach the summit, overlooking the magnificent views, you will feel that all the effort was worthwhile.

The scenery of Huangshan Scenic Area is indeed unique, and the hygiene environment is also good. The itinerary was arranged to be very relaxed and comfortable, the food was good and satisfying, the accommodation was very good and clean, and the tour guide's service attitude was excellent. Overall, it offers great value for money.
