⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was very lucky to have Zoe/Xiao Wang as my tour guide for this Atami Fireworks Day Tour! What impressed me most about the entire trip was her excellent management of time and group order. Her introductions to the attractions were clear, and she thoroughly explained all important notes. She also managed every meeting time perfectly, allowing the entire itinerary to proceed smoothly as planned. I particularly appreciate her "gentle but principled" approach to leading the group. When she needed to remind group members, she always maintained a soft demeanor but also insisted that everyone adhere to the schedule and group order. I believe a good tour guide doesn't necessarily over-serve, but rather clearly communicates what needs to be said and effectively manages what needs to be controlled, allowing travelers to enjoy their journey with peace of mind. Serina war unsere Reiseleiterin, sie war sehr professionell, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Sie gab uns das Gefühl, willkommen und gut betreut zu sein! Obwohl wir wegen des starken Windes nicht mit der Seilbahn fahren konnten, erhielten wir dafür eine Rückerstattung von 1000 Yen. Das Feuerwerk in Atami ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das ich sicher nicht vergessen werde. Ich kann diese Tour sehr empfehlen! Meine Füße können sich endlich etwas von all dem Gehen erholen.

I was initially worried about the long journey for this trip, and as online reviews suggested, we encountered traffic jams right from the start. I was very concerned we wouldn't make it to the Omuroyama itinerary (which was the highlight of this trip). Along the way, the tour guide used free time to stop at a rest area, allowing passengers who hadn't eaten lunch to grab some food (we met at Tokyo Station at 11:20 AM) and use the restrooms. By the time we reached the foot of Omuroyama, it was already 4:00 PM. The guide went ahead to queue for tickets and then led us to board the cable car first. We had enough time to go up the mountain and walk around. For the Atami evening itinerary, because the shopping street was crowded, the guide directly suggested we go to a nearby place selling handheld food (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, yakisoba, grilled beef skewers, fried chicken, chicken cutlets, etc.) and then wait by the sea for the fireworks display. There was a huge crowd this time, and the fireworks were truly worth seeing. The key was the guide's announcements and strategies before we got off the bus, which allowed everyone to quickly return to the vehicle after the fireworks, preventing any disruption to our subsequent subway journey back to the hotel in Tokyo. @Tour Guide (Wang Wen-chih/Eric)

The pick-up location was easy to find, but departing at noon was too late. Options for pick-up were Tokyo or Shinjuku. The journey was very long, with the entire trip taking about 6.5-7 hours (and there was no traffic jam). We took a cable car up Mount Omuro; there was a photo service in the middle to latter part of the ascent, and you could choose to buy photos when you got off. There was a souvenir shop on the mountain. The second "attraction" was actually going shopping near JR Atami Station, but the drop-off point for the tour bus was very far from the shopping street. We had to walk up hundreds of steps, which was very inconvenient. Moreover, 80% of the shops were already closed by the time we got there, so we could only take pictures and browse briefly. We then had to walk back down the stairs to the beach to find a spot to watch the fireworks. I hope the tour could start earlier so that there would be more time to stay and enjoy the scenery at each attraction; otherwise, it felt like we spent more time traveling than sightseeing throughout the day.

We had a wonderful time and the fireworks were spectacular. The activities at Mount Omuro were fun, and the view was certainly breathtaking. Our tour guide, Serina, was also very kind in helping us take photos along the way.

Vicky and her assistant were very supportive and encouraged me to catch the last train – something many guides often overlook, assuming guests will only be in Tokyo. A word of advice for those wanting to book this tour in winter: you shouldn't, due to various weather factors like strong winds or extreme cold.

My tour guide is Andy, he’s thoughtful and guides us very well! My friend and I missed the train and lost track of them, but he helped us a lot with that. Nice trip, by the way!

Since the trip started at 12 PM, we didn't arrive at our destination until 2:30 PM, and we had to take the subway constantly. We didn't reach Enoshima until around 4 PM, by which point we were very hungry. Therefore, the itinerary was a bit poorly planned. We only had 45 minutes to eat, and after finishing, there was no time to go up the tower or purchase admission tickets! We arrived in Atami an hour later, and since restaurants in Atami close at 7 PM, we only had one hour to explore! Generally, the itinerary should have started at 10 AM!

The tour leader Jimmy didn't give instructions very well; he should have waited for us at a single assembly point. However, he was patient while waiting for missing people 😉 The Atami fireworks are really worth watching; it was an amazing experience for me!
