I made the reservation too last minute, so I ended up booking a course without a Korean guide. Since it was a course that included diving, everyone was gathered before the dive for a thorough explanation and warning about risks. They explained in detail how to react in dangerous situations. I was fully satisfied with the experience of scuba diving along with snorkeling. For the second snorkeling session, I changed it to a fun dive (as I have a license), and since I was the only one who chose that option for that particular scuba dive, I think I was able to enjoy the sightseeing more smoothly. It was great to see turtles at the turtle point, and seeing clownfish in the anemones that were a bit deeper was also very cute and fun. Even during the fun dive, the instructor constantly checked if I was following well from behind, ensuring my safety. If your flight schedule and overall travel itinerary align well, I highly recommend trying either an introductory dive or a fun dive. Especially, even if the water at the beach looks clear, snorkeling in deeper areas allows you to see things in perfectly clear water without any sand, offering a truly wide and deep view, which was fantastic.

My first diving experience, even though it rained that day, was still excellent. After the first dive, I decided to pay an extra HK$300 for another dive. Although I didn't see any sea turtles, I saw two sharks, which was incredibly satisfying. I was traveling alone, and the dive instructor guided me one-on-one. When posing, I had to be careful not to scratch the coral reef with my feet. Basically, there was nothing to worry about. I'm not sure about those who aren't good swimmers 😂. Underwater, he also helped me pose for photos. One dive of 20 minutes included 3-4 photos, with no extra charge. I highly recommend bringing your own action cam (Insta 360/GoPro) with a diving case (remember to install anti-fog inserts beforehand) + a buoyancy stick. This way, if you encounter special creatures like sharks, you can record it as a souvenir. Also, because the dive site seemed to be about 20 kilometers from Okinawa main island, the boat ride took about 45 minutes. There were also some waves that day, so if you're not used to boat travel, be sure to take seasickness medication 30 minutes in advance. Two female travelers on the same trip successively fell ill and couldn't experience diving/snorkeling. It was quite a pity because the activity fee wasn't cheap (though it was good value for money). The activity included a regular bento lunch and miso soup, as well as cold barley tea. All the staff had excellent attitudes. There was a Mandarin translator and also a Korean translator. The activity included car service for pick-up and drop-off directly at the hotel entrance. Even on a rainy day, you almost didn't need to bring an umbrella, which was super convenient. The pick-up time would be notified the afternoon before. Remember to wake up early on the day of the activity and don't stay up too late the night before.

The weather on September 15, 2023, was fantastic, with visibility over 10 meters and calm seas. We visited three islands, experiencing one scuba dive and two snorkeling sessions, and encountered sea turtles twice. Our instructors this time were Japanese and Korean, but a Taiwanese translator accompanied us on the boat, so there was no need to worry about language. Hotel pickup and drop-off were included for those staying in Naha city, and the itinerary also came with lunch. The value for money was excellent, and I really enjoyed this trip! 👍

I recently went to the Kerama Islands for a snorkeling and diving experience, and overall, it was very enjoyable! First, I'd like to especially commend our instructor; he was truly attentive. Especially for someone like me who isn't very comfortable in the water, he constantly provided support and guidance, which made me feel much more at ease. Two of the instructors spoke fluent English, allowing for effective communication. However, the instructor-to-participant ratio was approximately 1:10, so it might not be possible for every student to receive thorough attention during the diving process. Additionally, the hot tea and hot water provided on the boat were a thoughtful touch, allowing us to warm up during breaks in the activities. However, I think it would be even better if there were more practice opportunities before entering the water. Because if you go straight into the water, it can be a bit nerve-wracking, so more practice time would help us enjoy the diving experience more smoothly. We were also very lucky to see whales on the way back! All in all, this experience is highly recommended and left a deep impression on me!

This was amazing. I had so much fun that I forgot about lunch, but I drank water to stay hydrated. We went to two different spots for snorkeling and diving. They take pictures for you. The cost covers only one dive; an extra dive is an additional charge. Bring medication for seasickness; you never know how you'll feel on the boat.

We saw giant sea turtles! The day before meeting with the team, the staff would contact you via WhatsApp with all the schedule details. If you need a prescription eye mask, it's better to inform them earlier so the team can prepare it for you. You'll need to pay an extra 550 yen on the event day for the prescription eye mask. We arrived at the meeting spot at 7 am, which gave us sufficient time to get ready, such as changing, putting on sunscreen, and having breakfast. We chose snorkeling. Only one coach was assigned for about 10 participants. Whereas for diving, I think about 1 to 3 participants were assigned one coach. There were foreign-speaking staff (Mandarin & Korean) who came along with us. While we were snorkeling, those staff became observers on the boat. What you need to bring to the boat with you are: phone, towel, water bottle/drinks, sunscreen, and dry clothes to change into. Lunch will be provided by the crew. Also, the coach would take pictures for you using their GoPro.

The tour guide explained everything clearly. It's good for first-time divers.

Our Kerama Islands snorkeling trip was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful, giving clear instructions on the use of the equipment and where to snorkel. There were 3 snorkeling stops with a lunch break on the boat. We didn’t know we could book meals (as Klook did not offer this option). We were surprised to find a microwave oven and hot water dispenser, could have brought some cup noodles/pre-packed meals instead of bringing bread! They had one diving instructor for every 1 or 2 divers. For snorkelers, they ensured we wore our gear correctly for each swim. A staff member stayed in the water on a float, vigilantly watching over us and calling out to those who swam too far. Christina, our English-speaking guide, was very friendly and helpful. When my sister had trouble with her flippers due to a toe scratch, Christina kindly let her hold onto her float. She also pointed out a turtle and a clam and took photos for everyone. Overall, it was a very organized and enjoyable trip!

Teada's overall arrangement was great. However, there were several groups gathering at the same meeting point, so it took us some time to find which company we had signed up for. The name of the local vendor was not stated on my Klook booking. The tour is more suitable for people who have snorkeled before, as there was only one guide leading the snorkeling team in the sea, while other guides were responsible for diving groups. Our guide, Christina, explained the snorkeling method before the boat departed and took photos for everyone. It was raining, but the water was still very clear with coral and fish; unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles.
