Tour de Go-Kart na Rua Shibuya pela Original Street Kart Shibuya Annex

This was arguably one of my favorite experiences in Tokyo. The go karting in itself is unique but our tour guide Xavian made the experience unforgettable. You’ll get the opportunity to ride through the streets of Shibuya with locals and tourists alike cheering you on. Xavian was provided explicit instructions before and during our ride to ensure clarity and safety. He constantly checked in during the ride to make sure everyone was safe and having a good time. He took incredible photos of each individual and the group (see attached) free of charge! Oh and he has a pleasant surprise in store for you at the end of your tour :). This is a must-do while in Tokyo and it is an incredible experience experience regardless of what time of the time you’re able to do it. Yes, there are some skeptical reviews out there, but why don’t you try it and form your own opinion? 10/10 would recommend

Definitivamente una experiencia para la lista de deseos y nuestro guía XAVIAN, muy informativo, entretenido y genial, fue fantástico. Tomó muchas fotos del grupo durante el recorrido y nos hizo sentir muy seguros al movernos entre el tráfico de Tokio con sus claras instrucciones. No se pierdan esta experiencia si se quedan en Tokio y, con suerte, les tocará XAVIAN como guía.

what an experience, fantastic time and a funny and characteristic instructor. we had Arbrar who made the evening all the better. professional ran outfit and good location and direction. karts worked well and covered much distance given the time. Drove through Shibuya crossing from every angle and passed the 3D giant cat. My daughter and myself have done loads on this holiday and this was the best by far.

Honestly, this was the best experience I’ve had since arriving in Japan with my husband! when booking we paid $259 USD and it was worth every penny! we also got our international drivers license in advance. When we arrived to check in the staff were so friendly and the center was colorful and bright. Xavian was our guide for the night and he did such a great job! he frequently used hand signals, yelled out clear instructions and was alert the entire time! you can tell he was excited to be our guide and made the experience unforgettable! Xavian was awesome!!

Everything was excellent. Our guide was friendly, explained everything very well, was attentive to us throughout the tour, and very charismatic. He told us a little about some of the places we passed. He took many photos of us at almost every stop and was always mindful of our safety. 100% recommended 🙌🏼⭐️

This is a must do experience when visiting Japan! The Street Go-kart tour team at Shibuya annex are so welcoming. They provide an excellent tour filled with lots of laughs, knowledge and speed. Our guide Orko was exceptional when taking us through the streets of Tokyo. He talked about notable attractions, ensured we felt safe and was your #1 fan boy with the camera, making sure you had plenty of photos for your instagram stories. The Shibuya Kart experience was really great! The staff were very well-organized, and their explanations were clear, making the whole process feel safe and fun. Driving through Shibuya Crossing and the surrounding streets, the atmosphere was fantastic. It's definitely one of the must-try activities in Tokyo!

great experience and definitely recommend doing it! Our instructor was Xavian and he made sure everyone was safe throughout the ride!

1. Upon visiting, you will need to pay for insurance separately. While optional, we recommend purchasing it (5,000 won). 2. GoPro rental is available (for a fee), but it's not mandatory. The staff member leading the tour will continuously take photos during signal stops (one printed photo per person). 3. These are not official vehicles, so they emit a significant amount of exhaust. Although I brought a mask, I had to take it off frequently for photos, so eventually, I just rode without it. It's probably better to temporarily sacrifice your health and ride without a mask. 4. There are character costumes, such as Pokémon, and we recommend wearing them. Photos definitely turn out better and become more memorable when you're wearing a character costume. Your hair will get quite messy in the wind, so if you want good photos, check your appearance frequently when taking pictures, and it's a good idea to prepare a few poses with your companions. 5. Driving is surprisingly difficult at first. I thought I was the only one who had to press the brake very hard, but after the tour, my friends also said they were bothered by the braking. Since you'll be driving through Shibuya's main streets and alleys, there will be many people and vehicles, so novice drivers who are not confident in their driving skills should probably avoid this. Those with some driving experience will get used to it after the initial phase and can enjoy it. It's a fun experience when people take photos and wave at you while waiting at traffic lights. 6. If you arrive 30 minutes early, they will check your passport/international driver's license, ask about insurance, have you re-enter your personal information, and show you a manual video (in Korean). You'll depart around the scheduled time, and the return trip takes approximately 45 minutes. (The route is the same, but it may be shorter or longer depending on road conditions). Overall review: Highly recommended unless you are an absolute beginner at driving.

Conducir por una de las ciudades más concurridas del mundo en un Street Kart, vestido con un mono, fue sin duda una de las cosas más divertidas que hicimos. Jan, nuestro guía, hizo un trabajo fantástico al guiarnos y mantenernos a salvo. Cualquier aprensión inicial que tuve se superó rápidamente. Este tour cruzó el famoso "Shibuya Scramble" 3 veces y fue icónico. Incluso lo hicimos bajo la lluvia, lo cual estuvo bien ya que nos proporcionaron pantalones y chaquetas impermeables para usar debajo del mono, lo que nos mantuvo secos. Fue fácil de encontrar con Google Maps. Muy recomendable.
