The environment is clean, the atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. Though small, it has everything one could wish for. We can find all our favorite foods here. The dining atmosphere is very pleasant, and we had an enjoyable afternoon.

Although there aren't many food items, every single one is delicious. The seafood is fresh enough, and the desserts and ice cream are also good! The service staff are enthusiastic and friendly. Several made-to-order items are of excellent quality, and the steak is good. If you have a favorite item to focus on, it's definitely worth it.

During the summer vacation, I dined at Evergreen Laurel Hotel Keelung. The buffet there offered fresh ingredients and delicious dishes, along with a beautiful night view, making it a wonderful memory. Upon returning to Taichung, I realized I had never tried Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung, so I specifically chose it for a family birthday dinner. To my surprise, the ingredients in Taichung looked far from fresh. No wonder the restaurant was less than ten tables full during dinner service – business was dismal. From the start, the sashimi looked like it had been frozen for a long time, soft, mushy, and dull. The roasted beef was clearly overcooked; although the meat quality was still decent, it was so dry and stringy, a stark contrast to the texture I experienced in Keelung. The cooked dishes all appeared to have been prepared a long time ago and were not fresh. The crab shells were already pried open, with no roe inside, and then reassembled; it tasted equally unappetizing. For this price point, even the ice cream wasn't Häagen-Dazs. The service for delivering dishes was good, but the grilled prawns were tiny and dry. Only the steamed fish was delicious, but we had to wait a long time for it. The oysters looked about the same size as the grilled oysters we get from street vendors. In the end, the only thing we were truly satisfied with was the cantaloupe, which was exceptionally sweet, soft, and delicious – finally a small consolation in an otherwise disappointing meal. The service staff outside were quite good, and the seating was spacious and not cramped. That's it; I won't be coming back again.

This hotel buffet can't compare to a specialized buffet restaurant, but you can still find things you like to eat, and it's not noisy. It's suitable for those who prefer a quiet dining experience.

Small and exquisite, perfect for diners who prefer fewer dishes but want every one to be delicious.

The environment isn't super luxurious, as it's an older hotel, but the food offers great value for money, and there's no rush during meal times.
