The tomb of the Emperor has intricate details and we loved exploring the whole complex as well! Learned a lot of things about him and his contributions to Vietnam, although it was hot but when going to Hue, you should not miss this

The Tomb of Khai Dinh made a strong impression with its unique architecture and intricate details. It’s very beautiful and atmospheric, especially the mosaics and interior design. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Hue.

Buying tickets from Klook is very convenient. You can scan them directly at the entrance without needing to exchange any vouchers. The place isn't very big, but it's beautiful for photos. Going early in the morning means fewer people.

The Imperial City is very large. Two hours is not enough to walk through it. If you want to rent costumes, do makeup, and take photos, you should set aside at least 4 hours. The entrance and exit are in different directions; the exit is divided into east and west sides, and you have to walk 400 meters from each to get out. If you forget which direction your car is parked in, haha... you might have to go around in circles to find it. Khai Dinh Tomb is very grand. If you don't particularly appreciate ancient sites, you can probably see it all in about an hour. After walking through the Imperial City and the three imperial tombs behind it, you probably won't have much energy left to keep going, so I gave up on seeing the other two tombs, and I also didn't have enough time. It takes about 20 minutes by car between each imperial tomb.
