Making traditional Turkish lamps by hand is a lot of fun, and the finished product is very satisfying, giving a great sense of accomplishment! The staff, Rusatam and Zeynep, were very professional in their teaching. Everyone is welcome to come and experience it!

If you’re up for some fun and creative time with your family, I highly recommended this activity. I visited with my 5 years old and we spent 3 hours there without feeling bored and really enjoying it! My daughter loves it a lot and it’s a good place to spent away from the sightseeing of historic places which bored the kids out. I’m really glad to found this place and it’s the highlight of our trip! The staffs are really kind and you get to take the lamp as souvenir home to remind you of good memories! They also have tea and snacks and a room where a family member who is not interested can wait.

Our experience at the Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Istanbul was an unforgettable part of our honeymoon. Compared to simply visiting attractions, hands-on activities like this felt more personal and memorable. The workshop environment was very comfortable, and the materials came in a rich variety of colors, allowing us to freely create our favorite patterns. My husband and I each made a lamp, and the process of choosing colors and designing patterns was very enjoyable. The moment we lit them up at the end was incredibly fulfilling and romantic. A special thank you to our teacher, Zeynep, who was very friendly and enthusiastic, making the entire experience relaxed and pleasant, and adding much warmth to this memory. These two lamps have also become one of the most special souvenirs from our honeymoon. Whenever we see them in the future, we will remember our wonderful time in Istanbul. I highly recommend this experience to friends traveling to Turkey, especially couples or those on their honeymoon – it's definitely worth trying!

They taught us the steps to make it in easy-to-understand English, so even though we don't speak English at all, we were able to participate without any problems!
