Tour Elysian Ski, Ilha Nami e Vale de Gelo Eobi

If you are lucky enough to be touring with Ruby, stop reading this and just go—you are in for a treat. Ruby is, without a doubt, one of the best tour guides I have ever encountered. From the moment we met, her warm smile and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for an absolutely perfect day. What sets Ruby apart is her genuine passion for her work. She doesn’t just recite facts from a script; she tells stories. Her deep knowledge of the local history and culture brought every location to life, making the experience feel immersive rather than just educational. She answered every question with patience and detail, clearly delighted to share her love for her home. However, it was Ruby’s personal touch that truly made the experience memorable. She went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in the group, checking in on those who needed a rest and offering fantastic recommendations for photos and local snacks. She even shared hidden anecdotes that you simply won’t find in any guidebook.

We had a good day. Kin was a great tour leader. He taught us how to ski, and it was a good lesson where we learned the basics and were able to ski. The plan was good to experience a little bit of everything. If you want to spend more time at the ski resort or Nami Island, it might be a good idea to separate the tour into two days.

The tour was overall great but the tour guide could be more friendly. We purchased the lift pass but weren’t allowed to by our guide. We also spent a lot of time at the restaurant he recommended which ended up eating our supposed time at Nami Island so we only spent a short time at Nami so we could still follow our scheduled time for our itinerary.

The trip was awesome, just a small hiccup at the Hongik pick-up point as there was no one there until we found the bus ourselves. More time for meals would be nice if having BBQ. Otherwise, Patrick was patient and detailed in his explanations along the way.

The tour guide was excellent, and everything went smoothly. Since a Chinese-speaking guide wasn't available, we had an English-speaking one. My English isn't great, but the tour was still manageable. First, we went to rent ski equipment, which is an additional cost. Helmets, gloves, jackets, and pants can be brought yourself, or rented here for 20,000 Korean Won each. After that, we learned to ski. Lunch was chicken BBQ with rice; drinks had to be purchased separately, costing 18,000 Won per person. Next, we visited Nami Island Park, which was very beautiful. The last stop was Ice Valley, which was very spectacular! Even though my English is poor and there were no Chinese speakers in our group, the tour was still manageable. It was an awesome experience! You don't need any travel agency anymore. It's like, you can just book your flight and hotel, then just select a tour package here in Klook, and it's all good! Our tour was always on time with the said itinerary. Our guide is also great! We have the same name, so I know that Andrew will do great! 🙌🏻👏🏻

My first ever snow experience. The Elysian ski resort is really fun. A must-try when visiting Seoul, South Korea. One of my unforgettable experiences. Nami Island is really freezing but beautiful during winter, and lastly, the Eobi Ice Valley. Filled with snow everywhere going to Eobi. I love this place so much. I really enjoyed this trip! We really enjoyed the tour, especially the ski class. Patrick, the tour guide and ski instructor, communicated well and made sure every part of the tour was done on time. He was a strict ski instructor, but for beginners his approach was very effective. The dak gabi lunch after was perfect. I just wished we had more time in Nami Island.

Ki is an amazing tour guide, and he is incredibly thoughtful. This was my first time trying skiing, and the equipment was super heavy; I hadn't prepared for anything that heavy. But Ki was extremely patient and considerate. He encouraged me and made sure everything was good. He is very punctual and always puts safety first. He definitely made my Korean trip amazing and memorable.
