Bill Hwang was an excellent tour guide. Very passionate and thorough, answered my questions along the way, really nice person! The tour itself was great, I loved it, learned a lot and experienced a lot. Would absolutely recommend, it’s a stress free way of experiencing the DMZ. Would do again in the future.

We had a memorable, fun & educational experience booking the DMZ Tour in Klook. Our wonderful time in the DMZ was made even more interesting & hassle-free by our exceptional tour guide Bill Hwang who was very accommodating & hands-on every step of the way - from communicating with us clearly regarding our pick-up time & location 2 days before our tour, to ensuring we have well-timed restroom breaks in every stop. Bill was very understanding & very knowledgeable with his Korean history facts/trivia in-between stops & at the actual locations. He always ensures that everyone in his team (tour goup) was ok especially during the long, challenging walks going up the mountainside to the Gamakasan suspension bridge & going down inside the 3rd infiltration tunnel. My family and I had such a wonderful time in this tour made even more special & unforgettable by the best DMZ tour guide - Bill Hwang. Thank you very much, Bill! We had a great day being Team Bill (Hwang) on our tour of the DMZ. Bill was so knowledgeable about the history of the DMZ and Korea generally, sharing how this history affected him personally and how it continues to affect Korea today was extremely interesting and moving. We found ourselves arriving on a very busy day and had to move the schedule around, ending up at the Suspension Bridge instead of the War Memorial Museum but it was still lots of fun. Bill kept the group up to date on the situation and was highly professional. Once we got onto the bus for the DMZ we got a really nice balance of being guided and being given some time to explore alone. The DMZ in general, not just this tour, has quite a bit of uphill walking which is something to keep in mind. We ended the tour with K-Drama, Restaurant and Activity recommendations along with the photos he snapped over the day! I would 100% recommend this tour and if you get Bill as your guide it will be even better! 감사합니다

Un día increíble con Bill Hwang! El día comenzó súper temprano, pero con la mejor vibra. Bill fue muy minucioso y sabe cómo tomar las mejores decisiones para el día, ya que el itinerario del día solo se confirmará cuando compre nuestras entradas para la DMZ para el grupo. Fue realmente bueno, hizo el recorrido muy interesante para nuestros hijos. Ambos estuvieron muy atentos de principio a fin. Se divirtieron tanto que no querían que el día terminara con el tío Bill. Bill toma las mejores fotos para el grupo, e incluso mejores fotos espontáneas. Las comparte con nosotros después del recorrido.

Our guide, Bill Hwang, was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about Korean history, and spoke fluent English. The tour itself was well organized, with ample time to explore each stop. All the places were very interesting and informative. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend it.

I'm absolutely thrilled! This tour is a must for anyone visiting Korea. We saw the memorial, visited the tunnel, and even got to see our northern neighbor. Our guide was Bill, and a special thank you to him for the interesting conversation and excellent photos!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, an einer DMZ-Tour (Demilitarisierte Zone) in Südkorea teilzunehmen, und es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Obwohl wir eine kleine Gruppe von nur acht Personen waren, verlief die Tour reibungslos, was ich sehr schätzte. Unser Reiseleiter, Peter, war außergewöhnlich. Er war bodenständig und teilte eine Fülle interessanter Fakten und Geschichten, die die Geschichte der DMZ lebendig werden ließen. Seine Leidenschaft für das Thema machte die Tour fesselnd und informativ, und ich habe mich keine Sekunde gelangweilt. Die einzigartigen Einblicke und Anekdoten, die er lieferte, hoben diese Tour von anderen ab, die ich erlebt habe. Ich habe so viel über die Geschichte und Bedeutung der DMZ gelernt, und es war faszinierend, einen so entscheidenden Ort persönlich zu sehen. I had the best guide in Bill Hwang. He communicated very well and was knowledgeable. It was good that we started early and the timing was perfect, with no idle waiting. I have a better understanding of the Korean War after visiting the War Memorial Museum. Thank you, Bill Hwang! #teamBill
