Our trip started at 7:00 AM from our hotel near the airport. Our driver, Mr. Sharif, and our guide, Mr. Ezz Eldeen, accompanied us. On the way to Alexandria, our guide provided insights into the city's history. After arriving in Alexandria, our driver served us delicious falafel. We then proceeded to our first stop in Alexandria, the Catacombs. Our guide gave us a brief overview and history of the place, and afterward, we went to Pompey's Pillar. After visiting these two sites, we went to Qaitbay Citadel, where our guide Ezz explained the significance and rich history of Qaitbay. After exploring the citadel, we headed to our next destination, the Library of Alexandria. The Library was huge and very beautiful. We are grateful to our driver and our guide, who provided us with a wonderful experience of Alexandria.

Tuvimos un día increíble con Mig, fue genial y paciente en todo momento al responder todas nuestras preguntas. ¡Además, su inglés era excelente, lo que nos facilitó mucho seguirlo! Viajábamos con un bebé y nos sentimos muy cómodos y bienvenidos. Diría que este fue uno de los mejores tours que tuve en Egipto, ¡ya que el lugar para almorzar también era increíble con vista al mar! Confirmation and details were sent to me right after booking. The tour driver, Sharif, picked me up on time in his clean and well-maintained car. He drove carefully and made sure I was comfortable. He also pointed out a few areas we passed by. On our way to Alexandria, he bought some local oranges for me to try and before he dropped me off at my hotel at the end of the tour, he even bought some drinks and snacks for me. Rewan, my tour guide, met us as soon as we arrived in Alexandria. She shared information about the sites we visited in a soft-spoken manner and gave me enough time to explore on my own. She also made sure to ask if I want her to take my photo since I was traveling alone. The restaurant she chose and her food recommendation was also top notch. Despite the traffic and big crowd in Alexandria today, Sharif and Rewan made the day trip fun and enjoyable.

Tuvimos un recorrido maravilloso con Sherif hoy. Llegó a tiempo y nos recogió en su coche limpio y bien mantenido. Desde el momento en que nos conoció, fue amable, gentil y complaciente. Sherif nos deleitó con historias sobre la agricultura, partes importantes de Egipto y El Cairo y mucho más hasta que llegamos a Alejandría y conocimos a Rewan, nuestra guía. ¡Realmente creímos que él era nuestro guía! Extremadamente paciente, alegre y muy detallado en sus explicaciones. Nos llevó a ver todos los lugares de interés, mientras Rewan explicaba maravillosamente todos los detalles y nos deleitaba con su información. Sherif encontró estacionamiento donde fue necesario, nos dio consejos locales útiles, nos llevó a almorzar, a una perfumería adicionalmente y finalmente en el camino a casa, nos consiguió pastel y nos ayudó a encontrar un buen shawarma, ¡ambos de los cuales recordó que yo había preguntado! ¡Incluso nos consiguió naranjas cuando nos escuchó hablar emocionados sobre los campos de naranjos y la agricultura! Ha sido el mejor conductor turístico que hemos tenido y estamos muy agradecidos por él. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este tour!

My mother and I decided to visit Alexandria from Cairo on December 19, 2024. Truthfully, we had some doubts considering that we booked this trip through Klook on the night of December 18, 2024 (insanely last minute), but the trip ended up being far more memorable than we initially thought! Firstly, the driver who picked us up from our hotel, Mr. Ahmed, was on time. He was very friendly and informative, which made the 2-hour and 30-minute trip from Cairo to Alexandria less boring as he entertained us with our questions about Egypt. Upon our arrival in Alexandria, we were greeted by our tour guide, Ms. Rewan Atef. Not only was she very soft-spoken, but her English was also very good. She was also knowledgeable and insightful, especially about the places we visited that day (probably because it's her hometown). Both the driver and the tour guide were very tolerant, so the trip felt warm and welcoming. They had already informed us that the package did not include the entrance fee, but most of the places are cashless, so please prepare your debit/credit card. Also, there are student discounts available, so if you or your siblings or your children have an active student card, then make sure to show it to them to get the student price. Overall, I'd humbly give the experience a 9.5/10. (-0.5 because I wanted to spend more time at some of the places).

I recently took the Alexandria trip from Cairo, and it was an incredible experience! They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying the trip. Overall, the combination of breathtaking scenery, historical wonders, and top-notch service made this a perfect day trip. Highly recommended!

The driver and guide we met on our Alexandria day trip were both excellent. The driver was very patient, waiting for us at the hotel in the morning, and proactively pointed out rest stops and convenience stores where we could take a break and buy water. He was always smiling and had a great attitude throughout the journey. Our guide, Mig, spoke English very fluently and had extensive professional knowledge. His explanations were very professional, and he answered all our questions thoroughly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, highly recommended!

The driver was very punctual and introduced attractions along the way, explaining Egyptian customs, which was very interesting! The tour guide was also excellent. The Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria is beautiful, highly recommended!
