Review of Peking Garden Lunch Set My family and I recently had the pleasure of trying the lunch set at Peking Garden, and it did not disappoint. The braised prawn with garlic and chili sauce was a highlight—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of kick. The barbecued Peking duck was another standout; the crispy skin and tender meat served with pancakes and accompaniments were simply delicious. To top it off, the caramelized banana fritters were an irresistible sweet indulgence that were stunningly presented. The lunch set offers great value, and the service was both attentive and efficient. If you're looking for a satisfying meal, Peking Garden is definitely worth a visit!

The portion sizes were generous, just right without being wasteful. The food quality at 'Maxim' is reassuring, so there's no need to worry about a bad experience when dining with friends. The restaurant wasn't full on Wednesday, so we were able to be seated near the window. The tables were well-spaced, and there was no time limit for dining. The service staff were attentive, and the overall dining experience was satisfying. I would definitely return if I have the chance in the future. The Peking duck skin was very rich in oil, and the meat was tender. Eating it plain without the pancakes offered even more delightful surprises. Each lotus leaf pancake was separated by oil paper, preventing them from sticking together, and there was also a small burner to keep them warm. These details show great care. The 'Toffee Banana' at the end was exquisitely presented and definitely a highlight! Additionally, I also enjoyed the cold appetizer platter and the spring rolls. The price included tea and a 10% service charge. While you might find cheaper options in Shenzhen, the price difference wouldn't be significant, and you'd waste time on transportation. Overall, this set meal offers good value and is worth supporting! The slightly less than perfect score is solely based on my personal principle that 'the lower the price, the better'.

Experience: The overall environment was good, and the price was affordable. However, it seems that all set meal customers were seated on one side, not in the main hall, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the serving speed was incredibly fast, not like a typical meal where dishes are served one by one. For the five-person set, it said there was a roasted goose, but the portion size didn't feel like a whole goose. In contrast, the roasted goose for the two-person set at the next table was said to be half a goose, but the portion was very generous. This made us feel a bit pressured and slightly disappointed.

It was a good decision to go a little early. I knew the restaurant was on the third floor, but there were several entrances, and each led to a specific area, so it took some time to find my way. The restaurant had a great view and atmosphere, and the staff were very accommodating, making our time there wonderful from start to finish. We had the Peking duck course, and every dish was delicious. The shrimp in the chili shrimp were very large and satisfying. The Peking duck still had meat on it. The skin was crispy, and the meat was juicy and delicious. It was a bit disappointing that the crepes for wrapping were a little hard. The Peking duck was a half portion. We each ate about 5-6 wraps. By the time we finished all the dishes, including the banana dessert, we were completely full. It was a great memory of our trip to Hong Kong. Thank you.

The ground floor of Star House is a bit run-down and lacks vibrancy, with old-fashioned shops. However, once you go upstairs, it feels quite grand. The restrooms have been newly renovated and are very clean. The waitstaff seemed busy, and we often had to call them multiple times. As soon as we arrived, they were eager to serve the set meal, but we asked them to wait as some of our party hadn't arrived yet. They responded that it was not possible and everything had to be served at once. We were a bit disappointed not to be seated by the window. We had reserved for 6 adults and 2 children, but they only gave us a table for six, which was very cramped. There wasn't even enough space when the dishes were served. You can watch the chef carve the duck in the central hall, but one duck was not entirely served on a single plate. This means that although I ordered a whole duck, I only received about 3/4 of it, with the rest being plated for someone else's next dish. This practice is not very considerate.

The environment is spacious and comfortable, with an elegant atmosphere that makes dining a relaxing experience. The roast duck is a signature dish, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly complemented by the pancakes and sweet bean sauce. The set menu offers generous portions, with diverse and exquisite dishes, each showcasing Beijing Lo's masterful culinary skills. The service is friendly and courteous, making it a highly recommended, high-quality restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui.

This is my second repurchase, and the food quality is excellent. The environment is upscale, and the Peking duck is prepared with great care, unlike the Peking duck you'd find in an ordinary restaurant. The candied banana is an absolute delight! Overall, the value for money is superb!
