Such an incredible experience. Henry, the guide, did a great job. He tried his best to explain the history of the Terracotta Army, which was astonishing. I was there at the beginning of June. The weather was a little bit hot, but it was dry. There were a lot of tourists on the site. Getting there from central Xian and returning was very easy. Taxis or Didi hailing were everywhere, even at the Terracotta site's entrance. It's not necessary to hire an expensive driver to wait for you. Overall, it was a nice visit.

Henry is a funny and good guy, he shared with us detailed information about Qin Shi Huang, the Qin Dynasty, and the Terracotta Army. 100% recommended!

Henry is truly the best guide! The Klook notice stated that the guide would wait for up to 5 minutes, and we arrived at the Terracotta Army 10 minutes late. Unable to find the guide, we thought we had missed the tour and returned to our hotel. While we couldn't contact the company due to not having international calling, Henry waited for us for an hour and a half 😭 When we finally received a call from the company and arrived back, Henry greeted us with a warm smile and said it was okay. Unlike a regular museum, this is an archaeological site still under excavation, so I opted for a private tour as I wanted to enjoy it, including its historical background and the situation from its discovery to the present day. I was relieved when they contacted me the day before with details about the meeting point and contact information. On the day of the tour, they were waiting at the meeting point before the scheduled time, and the driver's driving was very careful. Our guide, Emily, was humble and guided us meticulously. At the souvenir shop, I bought a book she recommended and got an autograph from one of the excavators, and we took a photo together. The souvenirs were not pushed on us; it was more like, "If you like it, please do," so I was able to shop comfortably. Since it would be a burden to carry, the shop staff brought my purchases to the exit after the tour. Although it was very crowded, she explained everything, hitting all the key points, and even brought me earphones midway so I could hear the explanations clearly. She also pointed out the best spots for taking photos. The travel time was long, but she talked a lot about other tourist spots and many other things even in the car. Thank you very much.
