Fantastisk tur. Tunnelen var kort, men guiden havde masser af viden og god humor. Meget interessant geologi og information om tunnelen. Eneste skuffelse var, at der ikke var souvenir-magneter at købe, som jeg ellers kan lide at samle fra hvert sted, jeg besøger. Stadig fantastisk!
Der Reiseleiter ist sehr erfahren und gibt eine sehr gute Erzählung/Erklärung über die Höhle selbst. Es wird einen Moment geben, in dem alle Lichter ausgeschaltet sind und Sie sich in völliger Dunkelheit befinden. Die eigentliche „Tour“ dauert tatsächlich nur 30 Minuten. Die restliche Zeit steht Ihnen zur Verfügung, um die Höhle zu erkunden und selbst Fotos zu machen. Es gibt installierte Lichter in der Höhle, daher ist sie nicht so farbenfroh, wie Google-Bilder es vielleicht darstellen. Angeblich kann die Höhle auch für Hochzeitsfeiern gemietet werden!
The itinerary was well-planned with ample time. Tour Guide: Clear instructions and explanations, very knowledgeable. Attractions along the way: The natural volcanic tunnel formation was stunning, and the complete darkness experience was well worth participating in.
A 1.3-kilometer-long lava tunnel, formed 5,200 years ago, is very spacious inside. Before starting, the guide will ask participants to put on helmets and headlamps, and those who need them can take hiking poles, ensuring they are fully equipped. The open section of the tunnel is not very long, and we did not walk the entire length. There are railings and metal plates for the convenience of visitors. It's easy to walk through, yet still offers great photo opportunities.
Es war sehr interessant, durch den Tunnel zu gehen, wo früher Lava floss. Im frühen Frühling hatten wir das Glück, die Eissäulen in der Höhle zu sehen, die sich über den Winter gebildet hatten.
The tour was insightful, and the guide was friendly, which made the tour an enjoyable one.
The tour was overhyped with very little to offer. The guide only tried to spend time, but she had hardly anything of substance to provide. The quality of the bus interior was very poor, and the driver's attitude was rude.

Iceland has many lava tunnels for tourists to visit. This one is about a 30-minute drive from Reykjavik city center. We chose to drive ourselves, and there's free parking, which is quite convenient. The 1.3-kilometer long lava tunnel was formed 5,200 years ago and is very spacious inside. The open section of the tunnel isn't very long; we didn't walk the entire length. There are railings and metal plates to make it easier for visitors to explore. It's easy to walk through and still provides a great photo opportunity.
The experience was quite unique and informative. The cave and the lighting were amazing and beautiful. Our tour guide was nice and professional.
