Avaliações
I originally thought this was a five-day, four-night group tour, but it turned out the local agent in Peru put us in different groups each day. First, regarding Machu Picchu, two days before departure, the agent said he couldn't get tickets and changed our itinerary, telling us to queue up and buy tickets on-site the next day. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes, the local guide's only solution was for each person to pay an additional USD 50. To keep to our schedule, we had no choice but to pay. In the end, after negotiating with the agent, he was only willing to pay half the amount. Next, for Rainbow Mountain, the itinerary stated a 6:30 AM departure with ATVs, but when we asked the agent, we were told we had to depart at 4:30 AM. If we wanted to leave later, each person would have to pay an additional 250 soles (including ATVs). I'm not sure if the agent was the problem or if there was an issue with what Klook had arranged. Finally, the hotel we were assigned was a two-star hotel, reminiscent of student accommodation from about 30 years ago. The facilities were old, the environment was noisy, and we couldn't get a good night's sleep. In summary: This is a group tour that is not worth joining. I recommend booking local one-day or two-day tours yourself and arranging your accommodation in advance. It will definitely be more cost-effective, higher quality, and you won't have to deal with any frustration.
This tour is a tourist trap. Beware. The itinerary does not line up with what was provided. There is almost no communication from the operator, while the guide selected for Machu Picchu was really good. The hotels provided at Machu Picchu were awful - loud, damp, dirty and no shampoo, soap or toilet paper provided. It is a complete rip-off.
