Tour de Trem de 2 Dias a Machu Picchu saindo de Cusco – Aventura Cênica Inca

We contacted the travel agency via WhatsApp two days before the trip, and received our train tickets and itinerary one day before departure. On the day of the trip, the guide arrived punctually at 3:30 AM at the hotel entrance to pick us up and take us to the train station. Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, the hostel receptionist was already waiting for us and led us to the hostel to rest. The rest of the day was free time, allowing us to explore Aguas Calientes, have lunch, and buy souvenirs! The next morning, before dawn, the receptionist had already prepared a simple breakfast for us. Our guide, Stiven, arrived punctually at the hostel to pick us and other group members up for the bus ride up the mountain. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful! We were very lucky with the weather; it was excellent, and we had a very clear view as soon as we reached the mountain. Our guide, Stiven, was very knowledgeable, providing excellent explanations in both Spanish and English, and gave us ample time to take photos. The tour concluded at noon, leaving us a few hours to have lunch before returning to the hostel to collect our luggage and depart from Aguas Calientes. This tour offered excellent value for money and is highly recommended.

José me contactó por WhatsApp para organizar los detalles del pasaporte para las reservas de tren, autobús y Machu Picchu. Primer día José me recogió en el hotel y me llevó a la estación de autobuses. Gestionamos nosotros mismos los billetes de autobús y tren: Autobús: Cusco a Ollantaytambo Tren: Ollantaytambo a Aguas Calientes Al llegar a Aguas Calientes, Ederth me recibió en la estación y me acompañó al hotel. Me informó sobre los planes para el día 2 y me proporcionó los billetes de autobús para Machu Picchu. Segundo día Richard fue nuestro guía, acompañándonos desde el hotel hasta Machu Picchu. Profundizó en la historia de Machu Picchu y nos guio por el sitio. También nos recomendó un restaurante en Aguas Calientes después del tour. Debo mencionar que, aunque este fue un tour de 2 días, José nos cuidó desde el momento en que llegamos a Perú. Regularmente se comunicaba por WhatsApp para ofrecer ayuda, incluyendo la organización del transporte desde el aeropuerto de Cusco hasta el hotel. A mi solicitud, amablemente organizó una recogida en el hotel incluso después de que el tour había terminado. En conclusión, me gustaría felicitar a José, Ederth y Richard por ser un equipo excepcional y por hacer que nuestro viaje a Perú fuera verdaderamente memorable.

I am very satisfied because the friendly and meticulous guidance throughout the tour schedule allowed us to finish without any hitches. It was even better that we were provided with a special class seat on the return leg of the round-trip train journey. However, above all, I am deeply grateful to the guide for explaining everything in detail with sincerity and for enthusiastically treating us until the very end, even though the tour ran much later than expected without showing any sign of inconvenience.

The itinerary was well-arranged, and the guide had a thorough understanding of Machu Picchu, providing clear and concise explanations of the architectural details and history. This helped us avoid a lot of local confusion.

Before booking, I repeatedly asked about the name and address of the hotel in Aguas Calientes and the itinerary for visiting Machu Picchu. I clarified that Aguas Calientes is a place name, not a hotel name. The Machu Picchu routes are complex, divided into main and secondary lines, with up to 10 variations. Customer service could not provide information, stating that I had to place an order first and then confirm with the travel agency myself. However, once the itinerary was booked, it could not be canceled, so I proceeded with the order based on my trust in Klook. Before departure, the travel agency responded with a negative and unhelpful attitude. Tickets had to be repeatedly urged before being received. The guide did not accompany us throughout the entire trip, and even asked us to handle critical parts of the itinerary ourselves and pay extra. Upon arrival, we were suddenly asked to go to the site a day early to queue for tickets, resulting in the cancellation of all our original accommodation and itinerary. The arranged hotel did not match the platform's information; the environment was poor and breakfast was not included. The travel agency unilaterally changed the return train schedule. The original return time was 19:00, expected to arrive in Cusco, but without consent, they booked a train that would only arrive in Cusco in the middle of the night. This was only communicated the evening before departure, after which they immediately left, affecting our subsequent week's itinerary. We were left to inquire at the train station ourselves and purchase tickets at our own expense, plus an additional charge for transfer fees that should have been included in the itinerary. The overall experience was extremely poor. Klook has addressed this incident, but the quality of this itinerary cannot be trusted. Absolutely not recommended.
