A good way to see Nakafurano and Biei in one day, especially during peak flower season. The tour covered many of the main highlights. The downside is that peak bloom also means peak crowds. There were long queues everywhere, even for soft serve, melon, lunch, and the toilets. Since Shikisai no Oka and Farm Tomita are quite big, the time at each stop felt short, so you really have to manage your time well and keep an eye on the schedule. Overall, it was a convenient and efficient way to visit many places in one day, but expect crowds and be prepared to move quickly between stops.
The weather was superb, with a blue sky and white clouds, and a refreshing coolness. The bus journey was quite long, taking 3 hours there and 2 hours back. So, the actual sightseeing on this day trip was about 4 hours, making each scenic spot feel a bit rushed. The lunch order was quick, although we had enough time to eat and shop. The air, flowers, snacks, and food were all delightful to both the eyes and our taste buds. I've never had such incredibly sweet and creamy raw sweet corn before! Amazing! The lavender ice cream was full of lavender aroma, a great dessert. Also, don't miss the yogurt at the Blue Pond. The waterfall was just so-so. The flowers at Shikisai-no-Oka and Tomita were splendid. Our guide, Lucy, did a lot of preparation, sharing very informative details throughout the trip. She covered the history of Hokkaido, its people, culture, and local food. She made us feel very safe and ensured we knew what to expect on the trip, including what to buy/eat and what to avoid. 👍
Beautiful day trip from start to finish! The scenery was amazing, and our tour guide Lucy made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and organized throughout the entire tour while also making everything fun and easy to follow. I also really appreciated how she kept everyone on time and the day running smoothly without ever making it feel rushed. Highly recommend this tour if you want a smooth, well-organized, and memorable experience!
Participated in the tour on September 8, 2025 – clear weather ✨ First, let me say that this was my first time booking a Klook one-day tour, and I highly recommend it! It's very difficult to reach these places independently from the city, and along the way, you can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery. More importantly, our guide, KEE, was very dedicated, introducing each attraction and must-try food list in both languages, making for a very pleasant day ✨ 📍Shikisai no Oka is much more beautiful than in the photos! You can take a farm buggy (500 JPY self-paid) for a loop to take pictures. I recommend the white raw corn and yellow cooked corn at the entrance, as well as the croquettes and melon soft-serve ice cream inside. 📍Aoiike (Blue Pond) and the waterfall had shorter停留 times compared to the previous stop. 📍For lunch, several set meals are available, which are decent, and you can also buy souvenirs. 📍Farm Tomita The area felt much smaller than Shikisai no Oka. Most of the lavender had already been harvested in August, but other flowers were still vibrant and beautiful. I recommend taking photos, trying the lavender soft-serve ice cream, melon pan, and the melon 🍈 outside the park.
Amazing tour! Our guide Kee was awesome, he was super nice and very knowledgable about the area, so he gave us great recommendations. He even let me borrow 1000 yen since there were no ATMs available haha, so that was much appreciated. Flower fields were beautiful, blue pond was just like the pictures, and food was great. Would give more stars if I could!
A convenient option for visiting Nakafurano and Biei, especially if you’re travelling without a car and want to see several places that can be difficult to reach by public transport. We went during peak flower season, so the crowds were quite heavy and there were long queues for food, drinks, and even the toilets. The time at each stop was limited, but considering how many places were covered in one day, the schedule was understandable. You just have to manage your time well, especially at the larger spots. Overall, a good and convenient way to explore the area without having to arrange transportation yourself.
This was the first time we had Kevin as our tour guide! My mom and I had a wonderful time seeing all of these beautiful areas of Hokkaido especially Furano, Farm Tomita, and Blue Pond! I got to see the colorful summer of Hokkaido and it exceeded my expectations! I felt like the itinerary was planned well with good break periods for the restroom but also adequate amount of time per stop! Kevin did a great job being our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable! He kept us timely and organized throughout the day so we would return home on time but did not feel rushed! It was definitely a great value for the tour and my mom and I had an amazing time! I would highly recommend this tour to all my friends especially since Hokkaido is expansive and it would otherwise be more difficult to travel to all these good sightseeing spots on our own!
This is a must-do tour when visiting Sapporo. Although the flowers were not yet in full bloom, it still didn't diminish the beauty and splendor of the places we visited. Thank you to our tour guide, Jenny, for helping us take those beautiful pictures and for sharing the history and culture of every place we went to.
My family and I had a great time! Our guide Aoki was very informative and efficiently organized our very large group. It was a sunny day and the flowers were in full bloom. I highly recommend the lavender ice cream!!
