The tour is worth it. However, as someone who traveled from a very distant country, I got lost and didn't follow the rest of the tour once I arrived at Liberty Island! The tour focuses on facts and history, so if you want to take a lot of photos at Liberty Island while also capturing Manhattan from across the water, you should opt for the cruise package to Liberty and Ellis Island without a tour guide. But the tour guide is definitely worth it if you want to be guided and not spend too much time in front of Lady Liberty (I spent too much time there, almost 5 hours). By the way, the ferry has free entry once you depart, so you can go back with or without the guide.

The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island tours were absolutely unforgettable! Amigo Tours made it extra special—I got closer to the statue than ever, visited the museum, and even had the chance to stand in the Freedom Screen. Ellis Island was just as amazing. A huge shoutout to our guide, Joseph! He was incredible—I learned so much from him. I even went inside Ellis Island to find an ATM so I could tip him because he truly deserved it, but unfortunately, he had already left. Highly recommend this tour and Joseph as a guide!

The package is easy to avail and is recommended for first-time travelers to NYC. The meeting point is at the Starbucks at One Battery Park Plaza (see photo below) and is easy to get to (it is near the subway station). Stalina, our tour guide from Amigo Tours, is very knowledgeable about the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. She was able to properly guide us from the meeting place to the two islands on the tour. The tour was very good and highly recommended when you are in New York.

There was slight confusion at the meeting point as there was more than 1 guide. I purchased my voucher the night prior to the tour so my guide had to check back with her office to ensure I am part of it. Guide was friendly. On paper the tour lasts 4hours. But at the 2nd half at Ellis Island, you could stay there as long as you want since the return ferry do not care whether you are part of any tour or not, and there is no checking of ticket once you leave the main island.

Amigo, the local tour operator partnered with Klook, is the best I've ever encountered. They proactively communicated via WhatsApp and also multiple times via email. Meeting point: Very easy to find. The guide arrived on time. Our guide, Emmanuel, provided very professional explanations and meticulously looked after the group members throughout the trip. Boarding the boat required passing through a theater-like security check; since there weren't many tourists this year, we cleared customs in about 20 minutes. Ellis Island is beautiful. The immigration history is very interesting. Statue of Liberty Island: To ascend to the statue's head, reservations are required at least a month in advance.

The Statue of Liberty, America's most famous landmark, is a must-visit. It's a very worthwhile half-day activity. The guide explained the various places well, and the group size wasn't too large. Overall, I was very impressed.
