June is the rainy season in Okinawa, but I never expected the rainfall to be so astonishing. We received two alerts by the fourth day of our arrival, so we had to prepare indoor activities. Little Universe OKINAWA just opened on April 29th, and it's located in iias Okinawa Toyosaki, just like DMM Kariyushi Aquarium, so we can visit both attractions in one trip.

Anyone visiting Okinawa should come here. The cafe is delicious, and the exhibition area is excellent. Highly recommended, it's a lot of fun and definitely shouldn't be missed.

There aren't many exhibits on site, but if you like miniature models, you'll love it. The Tokyo streetscape from the 1980s, combined with the background music, instantly makes you feel like you're there. Pay close attention to the details of the models, and you'll even discover some hidden gems. However, I think it would be even better if they added more Okinawa scenes, especially since they've opened in Okinawa.

It officially opened on April 29th, and I entered for a preview before the grand opening. Most of the exhibition halls were not yet open, which was a bit disappointing, but it seems like it will be quite a sight once it's fully open. Little Okinawa is located inside a shopping mall with an aquarium, many shops, and great restaurants, so there's plenty to enjoy. It's not far from the airport and car rental return location, so I recommend visiting on your first or last day.

It's a lot of fun! A quick visit takes about 1 hour, while a more in-depth experience takes about 2 hours. There are also plenty of great photo opportunities! Remember, before entering, you can pay an additional fee to make your own doll. Download the app to place your doll into the scene, where you can enlarge, shrink, make it run around, and even dance! It's really enjoyable.
