Excursão turística de um dia a Gibraltar saindo da Costa del Sol

Un poco confuso durante todo el recorrido. Primero, el lugar de recogida no está claro. Segundo, las instrucciones del guía no son claras; muchos de nosotros tuvimos que confirmar dos veces con el guía la hora real de salida y el recorrido por la cueva de San Miguel. Pero en general, Gibraltar es un lugar maravilloso para visitar. Ojalá hubiera tenido más tiempo para explorar.

Picking up passengers along the way, the outbound journey takes four hours, the return journey takes four hours, and the tour lasts three hours. Gibraltar offers beautiful scenery, with distant views of Morocco in Africa.

Although the journey is quite long (starting from Malaga on a large tour bus, then transferring to a mini-bus in Gibraltar to go up the Rock and tour the city), for independent travelers, joining this tour can save a lot of inconvenience and time. The cost won't be much more expensive than traveling by yourself, and the guide will explain some history along the way. There are no mandatory shopping stops. Although the time at each attraction is limited, it didn't feel rushed; you can still enjoy it and gain a lot!

Too many pick-up/drop-off points, but overall it's acceptable.

There are over 10 pick-up and drop-off points for group members along the way, which adds at least 3 hours of extra travel time for the round trip. This situation was not explained when booking the itinerary.

The experience of going to Gibraltar was terrible. There was no clear information that to enter Gibraltar, one must have a UK visa and a Schengen visa is not sufficient, so I couldn't enter and had to let my money go to waste, 3 hours of travel from Malaga became futile, and I had to leave my jacket behind on the bus, because the bus was parked in an area that required a UK visa. No contact number for the guide was provided, so in the end, I returned to Malaga by public bus, not with the group. For those planning to go to Gibraltar, be careful if you have an Indonesian/Asian passport, as your trip might be in vain.

The visit to Gibraltar was nice. The bus and guide were fine, however, the bus was 10 minutes late and spent too much time picking up guests at several stops, which ended up taking 3 hours from Malaga to Gibraltar. The biggest problem is that the content editor responsible for this activity page should have specified that this package does not include the visit to the Rock or St. Michael's Cave, as we were surprisingly notified by the guide that the cost we paid was only for round-trip transfer from Malaga itself. So it felt a bit like cheating. A better solution might be to include the package for a local guided tour and adjust the price. But anyway, Gibraltar is still worth a visit.

The trip was okay, a good experience in Gibraltar with a wonderful view. The trip included 2 hours of shopping and lunch, and a 3-hour bus tour. The remaining 6 hours were spent on a trip to Malaga hotels to pick up visitors one by one.

At the end the view and the local guide, Paul, a witty and funny british guy made this trip worth while. While as the guide that accompanied us on the big bus, a Spanish, was a huge mistake: did not speak correctly not even his own language, in English was a disaster. We spent too much time on the road picking up and all the tourists. Maybe a smaller bus with a smaller group would have a been a better idea.

We booked the tour a month ago but the travel agent had no record of our names on his list. Luckily the bus had enough space to drive us & we could continue the journey. Out of the 11h, 6h had been spend on travel as there were numerous pick-up/ drop-off points. Not much to see in Gibraltar or the guide has said much about the history. It was a bit disappointed.
