Excursão turística de um dia a Gibraltar saindo da Costa del Sol

Un poco confuso durante todo el recorrido. Primero, el lugar de recogida no está claro. Segundo, las instrucciones del guía no son claras; muchos de nosotros tuvimos que confirmar dos veces con el guía la hora real de salida y el recorrido por la cueva de San Miguel. Pero en general, Gibraltar es un lugar maravilloso para visitar. Ojalá hubiera tenido más tiempo para explorar.

Picking up passengers along the way, the outbound journey takes four hours, the return journey takes four hours, and the tour lasts three hours. Gibraltar offers beautiful scenery, with distant views of Morocco in Africa.

Although the journey is quite long (starting from Malaga on a large tour bus, then transferring to a mini-bus in Gibraltar to go up the Rock and tour the city), for independent travelers, joining this tour can save a lot of inconvenience and time. The cost won't be much more expensive than traveling by yourself, and the guide will explain some history along the way. There are no mandatory shopping stops. Although the time at each attraction is limited, it didn't feel rushed; you can still enjoy it and gain a lot!

Too many pick-up/drop-off points, but overall it's acceptable.

The experience of going to Gibraltar was terrible. There was no clear information that to enter Gibraltar, one must have a UK visa and a Schengen visa is not sufficient, so I couldn't enter and had to let my money go to waste, 3 hours of travel from Malaga became futile, and I had to leave my jacket behind on the bus, because the bus was parked in an area that required a UK visa. No contact number for the guide was provided, so in the end, I returned to Malaga by public bus, not with the group. For those planning to go to Gibraltar, be careful if you have an Indonesian/Asian passport, as your trip might be in vain.

There are over 10 pick-up and drop-off points for group members along the way, which adds at least 3 hours of extra travel time for the round trip. This situation was not explained when booking the itinerary.

This is a decent trip, GIB has fantastic mountain and sea views, and the direct air-conditioned bus really eliminates a huge hassle. The only downside I would say is that the tour guide intentionally asked everyone to pay a separate 25 euros for the shuttle bus to go up the mountain. It turned out that only those with a shopping-only package needed to pay, but this package does not require co-payment.

It's not easy to get to Gibraltar by public transport when traveling alone, so it was great that there were many pick-up points. I stayed at a hotel near a pick-up point the day before and departed early in the morning. There were mostly older family travelers. We traveled to Gibraltar by tour bus, and upon arrival, we split into minibuses for a city tour. The tour ended around 1 PM, and after a free lunch break, we gathered again around 2:30 PM to depart for Malaga. I told them I wouldn't be returning to Malaga as my next destination was a nearby city, and they accommodated that. Gibraltar itself doesn't have much to see, so I came just for its symbolic significance. I was sufficiently satisfied just by the convenience of the transportation.
