Melhores Pontos de Jeju: Tour de 3 Rotas de um Dia (Leste / Sul / Oeste)

This time, I came to Jeju alone. In the last five days of my trip, today had the best weather, so I spontaneously booked a one-day tour of the southern part of the island. I was a little worried about how to contact them, but the day before, I received an email from our guide, Choi, confirming the contact method. When I got on the bus today, I noticed most of the passengers were foreigners. Choi asked the few people from Taiwan if it was okay to conduct the tour in English, and everyone agreed. It was a good opportunity for me to practice my listening skills. Thank you, Choi, for introducing Korean characters and Korean soju throughout the day (I've drunk it so many times, but this was the first time I learned the story behind the bottle cap), and also makgeolli (Jeju has an orange flavor). He also mentioned Taiwan's Gaoliang liquor (I felt proud!). He introduced different varieties of oranges. I have asthma, so unfortunately, I don't eat oranges. Along the way, he introduced the scenery and every place we passed by. I think he also mentioned horse oil for stretch marks, haha. The last stop of the tour was Hallasan. He encouraged me to hike, saying it was okay to come down early if I couldn't make it, and that it was fine to be a little late for the meeting point if I could. I tried my best and went up the mountain, taking beautiful photos. We also visited Cheonjiyeon Falls, Jusangjeolli Cliff, O'sulloc Tea Museum, and Oedolgae Rock. I ate a delicious abalone and beef bone soup. This trip was very economical and enjoyable, and Choi was a fantastic guide!

Thank you Peter for the whole day tour. He explained lots of Jeju Island's history that you do not usually find on internet. He also gave us plenty of time to explore around. I love the performance of 해녀 and the Hamdeok Beach(great timing to visit). It was a great trip.

Aside from the initial pickup delay and the inability to contact the person via LINE (only WeChat and WhatsApp were available, which might be concerning for Taiwanese travelers who don't use these apps), we were worried about finding the contact person. We had to contact online customer service in Korea. Our scheduled pickup at the airport was 08:45, and fortunately, at 08:53, our guide for the day, Chloe, picked us up on the bus. For those of us on a red-eye flight who hadn't checked into our accommodation yet, we could directly store our luggage in the bus's undercarriage, starting our day's itinerary. The day's itinerary included: 1. Visiting the beautiful lava caves at the 'Land of Sunrise.' 2. Exploring Seongup Folk Village, where a self-taught English-speaking Korean elder introduced us to the traditional life of Jeju islanders. 3. A self-paid meal at a restaurant recommended by the tour agency, which was quite delicious. 4. Watching the Haenyeo (female divers) show on the free left side of Seongsan Ilchulbong and taking the paid hiking route on the right side; it's quite strenuous to reach the summit if you don't exercise regularly. 5. Enjoying the beach, buying a coffee, and listening to street performers, making for a very leisurely afternoon. Our guide, Chloe, was very professional in her explanations, using Chinese, Korean, and English throughout the tour, and she served every traveler with great enthusiasm, completely dispelling the initial unpleasantness caused by the morning pickup delay due to traffic. If you don't drive and want to visit some of the most essential attractions while also being able to store your luggage, I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour leader, Chole, was very friendly and took great care of everyone in the group. The tour bus seats were comfortable, and the driver was excellent 👍🏻. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak was a long-awaited attraction with breathtaking scenery, and we were lucky to have good weather, allowing us to enjoy the Haenyeo performance 😍. Besides the caves at Sunrise Land, we were surprised to find the park full of cherry blossoms and many orange trees, which was a delightful surprise. We had a wonderful time throughout the trip 🥳.

The southwestern itinerary was wonderful! We easily ascended to Hallasan 1100 Wetland to admire the natural beauty, then strolled along the coastline at Handam Coastal Walk, and finally chilled out at GD's cafe. Although it was a rainy day and the scenery was not at its best, our guide Chole thoughtfully adjusted the itinerary to minimize our exposure to the rain 🙏🏻. The roads were slippery due to the rain, but our driver was careful throughout, ensuring we had a comfortable journey.

Chloe war so eine süße und hilfsbereite Reiseführerin! Ihre Erklärungen und lustigen Fakten waren während der gesamten Tour wirklich interessant und nützlich. Ich würde auf jeden Fall eine weitere Tour mit ihr machen, denn alles war sehr gut organisiert und die Zeit, die an jedem Halt gegeben wurde, war perfekt, um alles richtig zu erkunden. Die Orte, zu denen sie uns brachte, waren auch absolut wunderschön. Ich kann diese Tour mit ihr sehr empfehlen, wir waren mit der Erfahrung äußerst zufrieden!

I did a South and West Jeju tour today and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a great introduction to this part of the island, with interesting explanations about Jeju’s history, symbols, and culture. Chloe was a wonderful guide—very kind, helpful, and clear in her explanations. She also happily takes photos for you if you ask, which is really appreciated. As a solo traveler, this tour made it easy to visit several major spots without a car. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to see this much on my own. Highly recommended!

Mr. Choi was an excellent tour guide. The tour was a combination of nature and food. The trip was very enjoyable and relaxing. We enjoyed everything, especially the information Mr. Choi gave us during the trip. It's an excellent tour experience. We loved the wetlands and the tea museum. We greatly enjoyed the food at every stop.
