You only need to arrive at the pier half an hour before your scheduled booking time. The boat is very warm, and you can clearly see the night views of both the Buda and Pest districts. I found the experience excellent and well worth the price.

I highly recommend everyone to buy tickets for the sunset session; the scenery is truly stunning! For seating, I suggest choosing the right side facing the direction of travel for a better view!

The evening ferry service in summer had few tourists due to a light drizzle. The boat was spacious, and it was quite windy on the deck, so a light jacket is recommended. The 7:20 PM ferry allows you to watch the sunset. It was a good experience.

We booked this at the last minute the day before, and it was absolutely worth it. We were worried because of a sudden rain shower that day, but it didn’t take away from the stunning night views at all.
