Restaurante Original Shin Yeh Taiwanese Cuisine

We couldn't eat at Shin Yeh last time, but thanks to Klook, we were able to easily make a last-minute reservation. Since it was a set menu, there was no crab sticky rice, but the mullet roe appetizer with daikon radish slices, the perfectly cooked salt and pepper shrimp, and the mushroom-infused fried rice were all outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Taiwanese seasoning, which wasn't overdone, and I apologize for not having good photos as I ended up eating before taking them. The crab sticky rice might be too much for two people, but in such cases, taking it home (dǎbāo) is always an option, right? Next time, I will definitely try the crab sticky rice.

This is Taiwanese cuisine that is easy for Japanese palates to enjoy. Personally, I'm used to authentic Chinese food like Northeastern cuisine, so I felt it was a bit lacking, but there were many Japanese customers, and the polite service made it a comfortable place to visit. The stir-fried shrimp and peanut mochi were especially delicious.

I took a bus from Taipei Main Station to a stop near the shop. From the nearest bus stop, I arrived at the shop in about 5 minutes. When I showed my printed voucher, I was immediately guided in, and the course started right away. I didn't have a chance to order drinks unless I specifically asked for the menu partway through. (laughs)

서비스 엄청 좋았어요. 말을 안해도 그릇이나 물, 음료 교체 및 교환 수시로 해주고 음식도 향신료 냄새가 쎄지 않아서 맛있게 먹었습니다. 어르신들도 좋아하셨어요.

음식 다 맛있도 직원분들도 친절하셔서 부모님과 와이프 모두 만족 하셨습니다.

I handed over the voucher and was able to enter smoothly. The meal was delicious.
