I had a great time at Immersive Fort. This is a must visit and one of the best activities I did in Tokyo. As a horror movie fan, Immersive Fort did not disappoint me. I got scared, my team screamed so loud! Kuddos to the makers of those fun activities.
This was my second visit. Last time was right after the opening, but now there's more content and it's even better! It was even more affordable to pay via Klook with a limited-time PayPay coupon. The Immersive Death Game was genuinely shocking with its electric shocks! The thrilling suspense and surprising ending made for a unique and interesting attraction! The Immersive Halloween was fantastic with its unpredictable scares and party atmosphere! Next time, I want to see all of the "Forte Vita Case Files"!
It was an amazing experience, we loved the electric train to the fort, great video or photo opportunities. The atmosphere was excellent, recommend you try costumes as we didn't & totally wished we had😭 The staff were polite& helpful. Make sure to check what the times are for shows as we missed a few because we didn't 😭but everything else made up for that, especially the finale. We were so entertained & seen so much, so check it out as we will when we come back🙂
I went there for the Alice in Borderland attraction because it looked fun, and it certainly was! There are many other attractions and street performances that I thoroughly enjoyed, especially with the current Halloween theme. Most of the attractions have English instructions or English subtitles (Alice in Borderland on screen; immersive story on a designated app). The only one that requires you to understand Japanese to fully engage is the street performance, which is understandable. However, I was able to enjoy it without understanding everything.
This theme park in Japan is unlike any other. While it boasts an immersive experience, I believe the key to enjoying it is to play a role, either as a resident or a tourist. Of course, you can also enjoy it by simply observing as an audience member. Even if you go alone, there are ways to have fun (I've experienced it). Among the paid content, "Tokyo Revengers" is highly recommended. For restaurants, "Cabaret" is a great choice. At Cabaret, you can enjoy a full-fledged show. You can even enter just for drinks, so I highly recommend watching from the audience. Although it differs from a traditional cabaret show, Fiona's chorus practice is held as a show in various places around the town where there's a piano. If you participate in this and then cheer for Fiona from the audience during the main performance at the Cabaret, I think you'll have a truly wonderful experience.
This time, I didn't buy the special ticket with the extra charge, but in the end, I had a lot of fun. You might think that my expectations for immersing myself in the world of the movie were too high, but I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a party-like atmosphere with shows and live performances. Since it used to be a shopping mall, compared to Disney or USJ, the attractions are only those you walk through yourself, and there aren't many of them. However, the cast is spectacular, and their performances, which draw in the audience, are luxurious, and I felt the pricing reflected that. For those who find daily life boring, it's worth visiting at least once for a change of pace. If asked if I would visit many times, since it's not cheap, I can't say frequently, but personally, I would definitely want to go if my favorite anime or something similar collaborated. It's still new, so I have high hopes for the future.
Immersive Fort Tokyo is an impressive place that sets itself apart from the other theme parks in Japan. The concept of European architecture was nicely executed and the set is so amazing! We gawked at everything we saw inside. We enjoyed the free access that came with the basic package, and are now considering the paid attractions within on our next visit.
It used to be a theme park where you could spend the whole day, but after the renovation, it has changed quite a bit, becoming a facility where you enjoy each work individually. Sherlock has added new episodes, transforming into a work where you can enjoy a deeper story. You can immerse yourself in the story from your preferred position, and occasionally characters will even speak to you, making it even better. However, since the works are performed in Japanese, international visitors might not enjoy it as much, only being able to read the text on a device.
Forte Vita forever. The current park will close in February 2025. From March, only paid attractions will remain. It's simply a shame. I suppose it's a business decision, but I really enjoyed the unprecedented experience of following events throughout the park all day long. Couldn't they have preserved some of the charming characters in some form? I'm just so disappointed.
