Very close to the train station for those that want to me close. And the free snacks was a wonderful perk. Staff were courteous and the environment in the lobby is lovely. The rooms were also great.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The solid wood furniture has a sophisticated feel, and the large bed is incredibly comfortable. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, along with a bidet toilet, making for a pleasant experience. There's also a sofa area in the room, perfect for relaxing. Overall, the environment is clean, and it offers good value for money, making it an excellent choice for accommodation.

From the Hualien Train Station exit, looking "straight ahead to the left," you can see the sign for the Charming City Hotel. It's located behind the "transfer station," and you can reach it in about a 5-minute walk after crossing the street. The location offers convenient transportation. The front desk staff are enthusiastic, friendly, and politely offer guidance on local attractions. The guest rooms feature elegant, classic, and tasteful decor with a luxurious feel. Each room has a small living area and a bedroom, each with its own TV (a unique and uncommon feature). The rooms have wooden floors and leather chaise lounges. The toiletries and bathroom are in separate, independent compartments, providing a wet/dry separation. The bed and pillows are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

We stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, our room had an odor, and despite its large size, it only had a single-seater sofa. We were moved to another room, which resolved the odor issue, but then we encountered noise problems and found the bathroom facilities to be quite old. If these issues could be addressed, it would significantly improve the quality of the stay. However, the staff were attentive to customer feedback and responded appropriately, which was excellent. The owner should continue to work hard to enhance competitiveness!

Our stay at this hostel was truly fantastic! We stayed in a "Triple Room with Private Bathroom," and having our own private restroom in the room was incredibly convenient. Although the room didn't have an external window, this actually made the room very dark at night, providing complete darkness. Coupled with excellent soundproofing, we slept exceptionally soundly and sweetly! The overall decor was a stylish industrial design, yet it came at the affordable price of a youth hostel, offering incredibly high value for money. The location is also impeccable, directly opposite Hualien Station's front exit, making it super convenient whether you're taking public transport or want to rent a car nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The most thoughtful service was that if you bought too many souvenirs before leaving, you could store your luggage at the front desk and pick it up just before heading to the station. This meant you didn't have to carry large bags while shopping, which was super convenient! Additionally, for those driving, the hostel provides parking for only NT$100. A NT$500 deposit will be collected when you pick up the parking remote control and will be refunded when you return it. Overall, the stay was comfortable and worry-free, highly recommended for friends visiting Hualien!

Location is very strategic, close to the night market and even got a big parking lot for car to park. I would recommend this place for future travellers to Taiwan

My first stay was quite good. The parking lot is right next door. I recommend informing the front desk in advance so they can better arrange a parking space. The room was clean, and breakfast was decent. There's a coffee machine, and a water dispenser nearby for refilling water.

Overall, this stay was very good! The hotel's surrounding area has excellent amenities, with a FamilyMart convenience store next door and a self-service laundry and charging area across the street. Parking is first-come, first-served. The lobby on the first floor is very thoughtful, offering a coffee machine and free classic Taiwanese snacks like "True Squid" and "Salty Vegetable Crackers" (for lobby use only). Please note before checking in: In response to environmental protection efforts, the hotel does not provide disposable amenities such as toothbrushes, so please bring your own; formal breakfast is not provided. The long layout of the hotel makes noise from the hallway and neighboring doors more noticeable, but it is still highly recommended for its value for money!

We went to Hualien during a typhoon, didn't go anywhere, and mostly stayed at the hotel. In the afternoon, there were all sorts of snacks, ice cream, coffee, and drinks. Dinner was incredibly crowded, but the hotel staff refilled the food very quickly, which was impressive. Breakfast was also very abundant. It's definitely worth visiting again.
