The property is located in the popular resort area of Nusa Dua on the southern peninsula of Bali, with the 18-hole golf course and Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center to be found just a short distance away. The resort's design concept is based on the Peranakan style, a blending of Chinese and Indonesian or Malay cultural styles, that has created very distinctive design and architectural forms. This style has inspired the exterior design of the villas, which use wood with a Chinese motif, and also for the interiors, which feature a combination of antique and modern styles of furnishings.
