Dingen om te doen in Taoyuan

Dit was mijn eerste bezoek aan het Xpark Aquarium en het boeken van tickets via Klook was echt handig. Het aankoopproces was niet alleen eenvoudig, maar de prijs was ook voordeliger dan ter plaatse. Met de e-tickets kon ik direct naar binnen door de QR-code te scannen, wat veel tijd bespaarde. De indeling van het aquarium is zeer karakteristiek, met elke tentoonstellingsruimte die licht en geluid combineert voor een meeslepende kijkervaring. Populaire gebieden zoals die met pinguïns, kwallen en zeehonden zijn erg aantrekkelijk, en elke hoek is perfect voor foto's, waardoor het ideaal is voor stelletjes, gezinnen met kinderen of vrienden. De omgeving is schoon en comfortabel, en het personeel is erg vriendelijk, wat het bezoek zeer soepel maakte. Ik raad aan om op een doordeweekse dag te gaan, dan is het minder druk en kun je rustiger genieten van de verschillende zeedieren. Over het algemeen is het een aanrader, en de volgende keer dat ik de kans krijg, zal ik zeker weer tickets via Klook kopen.

Online ticket purchasing is convenient, and more importantly, it's cheaper than buying on-site, plus you save on parking fees. Every time I visit Dongyanshan, I buy my tickets directly through Klook. You select your date after purchase, and the tickets are valid for a year, so there's no need to worry about sudden rain forcing a reschedule and making your tickets unusable. It's incredibly convenient.

After more than 20 years, I visited Window on China Theme Park again, mainly because my girlfriend wanted to go. The park is actually quite small; you can see everything in an afternoon. The models seem quite old, but they are well-maintained. Some areas have become overgrown with weeds, but employees regularly clear and tidy them up, which I noticed. As for the rides, besides the 'Boomerang' (similar to Leofoo Village and Lihpao Land's 'Volcano Adventure' but much taller, which neither my girlfriend nor I dared to ride), the other attractions are mostly geared towards children. There's a kid-friendly version of 'The Plunge.' However, the 'Crazy UFO' ride made my head hurt so much I almost threw up. Regarding the architectural models, my girlfriend was quite impressed. They have the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Presidential Office Building, and the Statue of Liberty. We also played a fortune-telling game and fed fish. Some areas clearly show that the facilities are very old, but fortunately, the restrooms are all clean and have been renovated. Overall, the trip was worthwhile. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, parking for scooters at Window on China is free! That's a huge plus – no parking fee for scooters. Window on China gets a thumbs up for that, and there are plenty of parking spaces. It's a decent place, but it's really more suitable for parents bringing their children, as the facilities inside are primarily designed for kids.

Good combo ticket for Xpark and Chiao-hu. I would recommend figuring out if you want to catch a show at Xpark and timing things, because their live shows are every 2 hrs, and kids won’t be able to wait around. Since both venues you can get a stamp for re-entry, it’s worthwhile to plan around food and playtime.

Lala Mountain is a great place to escape the summer heat in Taoyuan. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park's giant cypress forest, where the gentle slopes of the trails make for an easy walk. As you hike, breathe in the phytoncides from the mountain, cleansing your mind and body, and experience the beauty of the magnificent natural surroundings! The park also features plants such as green maple, red maple, and beech, forming a highly representative forest ecosystem in the mid-altitude mountains of northern Taiwan. Every November and December, the green leaves turn from yellow to red, creating a uniquely romantic and poetic scene. The park is also an important habitat for wildlife such as the Taiwan blue magpie, yellow-bellied fantail, and Formosan serow.

Taiwan's Taoyuan also features Japanese-style torii gates, ninja displays, and other landscapes, along with various multi-flavored product samples to taste. It makes a great backup plan for a rainy day out, offering food, drinks, and shopping, as well as multiple Japanese-style settings for taking photos. Admission tickets can be used as a discount toward purchasing cookie and pastry products on-site. It's a delicious and fun place to visit!

The tickets were very easy to use, and the price was great. The overall quality of the environment was excellent, and the kids had a lot of fun. They even got to make their own colored pens, which was a fun activity. The DIY activities looked fantastic. It's definitely worth coming back again!

De omgeving in het museum is schoon en comfortabel, en de rondleidingen en interactieve faciliteiten zijn zorgvuldig gepland, vooral de doe-het-zelf-cursussen en chocoladeproeverijen zijn erg populair. Als u met kinderen van 6-12 jaar gaat, zullen ze zich meestal uitstekend vermaken; voor stelletjes is het geschikt als een halve dag date. Als u faciliteiten van het niveau van een groot themapark verwacht, vindt u de inhoud misschien wat beperkt, maar als toeristische fabriek is het zeer compleet.

This was my second visit to the King Ger Tourist Factory, where you can make DIY cookie houses. We also happened to catch a Beyblade competition. It was a rare experience to go from not knowing how to play at all to being able to compete against others. I'm very grateful to all the older brothers and children who guided and played with him that day. Thank you all; everyone had a truly wonderful and enjoyable experience.
